I'm thinking correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Amorin have a tough start when he first took over at Sporting with a similar 'toxic' atmosphere and after his first pre-season turned the club into Double winners. I have a feeling that the club may surprise a few of the cynics who have been poking fun at the club. They may not do the double (after all the Portugese league is less competive) but they definitely won't be finishing as badly 15th.

Yeah you’re right mate. He got rid of quite a few big names and best players as well. And cleared out about 11 players in his first summer. Started working with a more smaller and together squad.

Yeah this relegation talk by oppo fans is funny lol even if it is **** taking more than seriously. Would be happy with getting into the Europa places and having some good cup runs. 5ths possible but gonna be very tough. More together squad, proper pre season, new signings and one game a week will help

Europa league is probably the aim but if they can get a new striker (Hojlund clearly is not ready and should never have been put in the position he was in last season) and a less erratic keeper who knows.

Yeah I would be happy to keep Hoijlund tbh. Hes definitely got potential and he’s improved on a couple of things I’ve noticed in pre season ( wrestling with CBs ) having Sesko him and Odi that would be good for the upcoming season
