The Manchester United Thread

No summer.

This signing would be good in different ways for us if it happens though, I mean if Mata joins then it sends out a statement and would play a factor in whether other players may want to come. Such as Gundogan, in the summer.

Have to praise Sunderland's pressing, forcing us to play the ball long into the forward and lose possession. Borini's work down the left flank in particular. Rafael hasn't had the most convincing first-half, but then the same could potentially said about his recent form altogether.

Repeat of the second-half vs. Swansea please, that was tremendous football.

This is why I hope Mata is the first of a few coming in this window!

Or if we sell Rooney abroad next season, which is seeming more likely.

Kagawa - Mata - Januzaj behind RVP would be sexy as.
The trio you've mentioned are super-talented, but the problem would be that they would provide no width, and you'd end up with three playmakers and no natural wingers.

Like us to get a figure like Valencia with an end product, I feel that setup could be a bit on the narrow side.

Sky commentator confirmed that deal is done, 37Million and Mata will have medical tomorrow.

Enjoy him utd fans. You are signing one special special player and I wish him all the best. I will never forget the incredible things he did for Chelsea and I am delighted I was there to see his final goal for Chelsea

I was thinking for the summer where I am hoping Young will be going therefore we can get another one in... maybe test Real's resolve for Di Maria or go for a younger option like Griezmann.

Really interested to see if we do anything else during this window, it's been unconvincing again tonight.. despite us having a narrow lead.

Anyways as exciting as this rumour is, I think we can file it under the 'highly unlikely' section. Chelsea have absolutely no incentive to sell in January but this is something that would generate a lot of noise in the summer I assume

I agree with you but there are a plethora of other options we can consider before we sell him to United

I like to believe Chelsea isn't run by a bunch of morons so if this deal goes through without Rooney going the other way, you guys can rib and call me every name under the sun but admit it, this deal looks super unlikely

Lol.

Griezmann is the one to go for. Test Dortmund's resolve as well, who knows what'll happen.
