Wootton tweeted Brady got Man of the match against Blackpool. I watched both the matches, Testimonial and Hull game, Brady looked very lively and was capable of beating his man..

Scholes LEGEND. Not few decent memories, you have given us tons of it, all brilliant ones..

yeah brady looked really lively beating man with ease desrved mom imo could be one for the future! Goodbye scholes you legend and all the best still looked like could play another season:'(

Brady had a good game, they needed to get the ball out to him more. Hull should have won that, let down by poor finishing. Cracking finish from Taylor Fletcher

yeah totally agree hull only looked good when brady had ball but finishin was shockin smash and grab by blackpool, good finish tho. Thought cairney looked good to.

Paul Scholes, one of the most adaptable footballers ever. A player who started his career as a classic number 10, sitting in the hole off the front man, scoring and creating goals in the final third, ends his career as arguably the most accomplished modern day footballing 'quarterback' - what a career, what a player, what a total professional, what a humble, nice bloke. Sven forcing him into early retirement by playing him as a left winger to accomodate the doomed Gerrard/Lampard partnership is English footballs greatest tragedy.

Cheers Archie, thanks for the goals, the passes, the touches, the trophies, but most of all, thank you sharing your brilliance with us for so long.

Around 15,000 turned up to watch the open training session today at Old Trafford

Phew that was a superb come back..

De Gea: Did well after conceding 2 goals. Saved superb shot from Johnson and also Richards. He will only improve.. Impressed with his distribution.

Smalling: Ever improving. 2 seasons back he was a non league player. Equally good as RB too, very very impressive.

Rio: For me he was at fault for the first goal along with Vidic. Had nothing to deal with either.

Vidic: Made few good tackles, he was at fault for 2 goals. Gave so much room for Dzeko.

Evra: Made few overlapping runs, wont be surprised to see Fabio playing few games ahead of him.

Nani: ******* monster. 2 goals and was quality for the whole game. His finishing was top top class. Expecting a big season from him.

Carrick: usual self. For me Cleverley should play ahead of Carrick as he offers a lot of energy.

Anderson: MOTM contender. Controlled the tempo. Him and Cleverely dominated midfield trio of Silva, Yaya, De Jong. That says lot. He was much better with his decision making and did few tricks to beat his man. Like Nani, expecting a big one from him.

Young: Didn't look like a new comer. Slotted straight away, was good with set pieces. Still he dwells on the ball too much for my liking which he has to improve.. I'm sure he will.

Welbeck: What a energetic player.. Chased every loose ball, won tackles, his work rate was top class. It was like watching Tevez.. He has wonderful technique, his link up play is very very good. He should take his chances though. At time he is way too much unselfish.. Sometimes he should have a go..

Rooney: Good linkup play, his movement was very good. Still was not at his best.

Subs:

Evans: Played well. Lost the ball, won it back and dribbled all the way before losing it. He is a very good player and hopefully he will show it.

Jones: Played well. Bombs forward at every opportunity. His passing and composure was very good.

Cleverely: For me game changing sub. His link up play is very good. His short passing and move is very impressive. Keeps it very simple. Would like to play him ahead of Carrick. *Not comparing ability wise* on ball he is Iniesta mold player. (Not comparing them, just style)

Rafael: Captain Rafael..

Very pleased with the performance. Average age of the team in the second half was 22.9, and even this young team to score 3 goals against City was very very impressive. Dominated midfield completely which was our weak link..

not gonna lie, i don't care if we don't get sneider after seeing cleverley today, if he wants to stay at inter, i won't be that arsed
cleverley could be one of the worlds best players in 2-3 years

May become very important player for us, still in 3 years likes of Fabregas, Iniestas, Messis, Ronaldos, will be playing..

tbh Cleverley played played well but is still developing and no-ones knows how good he can become. Sneijder is a world-class players who has played in Champions League and World Cup final. So if Sneijder could be got I'd say get him without hesitation. If Sneijder was offered to Fergie and he said no because we have Cleverley now I would be very disappointed.

Bottom line is you need to walk before you can run and Cleverley is still crawling while Sneijer is sprinting ;)

No the Community Shield is officailly listed as a major trophy by the FA, the 'emirates cup' isn't.
