Smalling at RB it is then. Oh how we could do with oh, i dont know Fergie, a utility man who didnt mind not being a regular, hmmm, let me think, someone with experience, professionalism, and the ability to play in a number of positions? Oh no wait you kicked John O'Shea out the door....
I could've sworn there was another Da Silva twin, a full-back equally capable on the right as his brother?
He will no doubt be deployed at left back as Evra is seriously struggling.
That's a mighty big prediction to make. Agree that Evra didn't have the best of seasons last year, but I doubt Ferguson would compromise on having two natural full-backs just to drop someone who is, let us be honest, one of the best in the world in his position. Still, hey ho. We'll find out soon enough.

Struggling with injury.
I meant fitness wise. He's a major doubt for the start of the season. I still rate him as one of the best full backs in the world.

I can almost understand Arsenal fans jumping at Wenger but this is beyond me...
Our squad is in great shape according to most pundits and fans. But imo we are a bit thin on the ground defensively. Selling John O'shea was a mistake, thats all i meant by my statements.

Fergie given up on Sneijder!
I dont think we need him as we have the likes of cleverly, anderson, morrison, pogba all to be given their chance.
West brom will be tough but i think we can scrap a 1-0/2-1 win.Should have the quality to win.
worst one was Boulahrouz #9 for ChelseaThink it's a personal thing. Like, I can't stand seeing offensive players with defensive numbers and vice versa - I.E Fabregas #4, Zidane #5, Gallas #10, Gyan #3 (for Ghana) etc..
I agree with that up to some extent, O'Shea is a player I really like, not because he is technically brilliant or anything, but because of his commitment and versatility. But I think it was a good choice to let him go, because he was a backup/rotation player and he deserved, in my opinion, some first team action, and Sunderland was ready to give him that. I think old Fergie thought of that and decided to let him go. Definitely not the best for United, but a nice way to repay the player for his years of service, even if O'Shea was more than willing to continue being a rotation player.
Ahem

What is that supposed to prove? Heskey can do that too...
You don't become a technically brilliant player because you managed to pull a simple trick off...
