The Manchester United Thread

We'll give you Mike Phelan as a trade off, deal? :)

Naaaa...it's cush. We'll keep DM and Round. I still think Jose will end up there. People think I'm mad.....well, yeah it's true. But you just can't tell who's going to end up where anymore.

Anyone else think its hypocritical that the Aldershot fans are singing 'we supawwwrt owwa localll teaam' considering half of them have probaly never been to an aldershot game before? THEY'VE ONLY COME TO SEE UNITED

Macheda tweeted earlier that we gutted not to be playing tonight.. anyone think he might be on his way out on loan to a Championship club?

Would have loved Morrison and Pogba to start personally, but this team should thrash Aldershot tbh.

He's not playing because he injured his arm and he'll be out for about 3 weeks.

Morrison was great. His movement and passing was for 8-9/10. Work rate was good too. Looking forward to next game ?, maybe he will start.

What a promising debut for Morrison (I'm not counting just few secs he played on his official debut). Started on left then played a free role, available for pass everytime, tracking back, dribbling, playing few good one twos in tight spaces. He as the best player in that last 20 mins. Very impressive for a youngster on his debut.

Even with the likes of Berba, Owen, Park, Valencia on the pitch, he was asking for ball everytime and at one moment he even wanted to take free kick near the edge of the box which Berba was ready to take, lol. Loved his confidence. We should play more often at least in the games where we will be winning with comfortable lead.

This season so many players from our ranks have played for us.

Jonny Evans
Ryan Giggs
Danny Welbeck
Tom Cleverley
Darren Fletcher
Federico Macheda
Michael Keane
Ben Amos
Paul Pogba
Ravel Morrison
Ezekiel Fryers
Larnell Cole

Will Keane and Vermijl made the bench which is really good for them.

Not included Gibson as he didn't play. If we count home grown then we can add Rafael, Fabio, Rooney too.

Ryan Tunnicliffe, Brady, Drinkwater all are doing well out on loan. Even Norwood.

How good was Fryers in last two games;look like a good defender! How is Matty James doing? btw HAPPY DIWALI!

Fryers was very good, looked composed and won the ball well.
Fabio on the other hand was poor.

Berba looked like he always wanted the ball which is good. I think he is too good a player to sit on the bench.

Maybe I'm the only one but Ravel looked like he was trying too hard with the flicks, only one really effective was when he flicked the ball to Berba. Plus I don't know why but i always imagined he would be really quick but he isn't.

Though Cleverly didn't get much time on the ball, I am glad that he got some minutes under his belt.

I thought Pogba looked great, you can just tell he has the talent, looked like he was told to do a job and just sit in front of the back 4 and slow the play down, his passing is top notch, I think with the way our midfield has been this season, I would love Poga to be given a chance while we're winning just to give him some gametime and ease him in.
Morrison looked great too! lets just hope his off the pitch problems have gone away now and he can just concentrate on his football and be the player we all hope he becomes!
Also did anyone see Berbatov go on a near full length sprint, after that he didn't move for a good 10 minutes! lmao

Very much impressed with Fryers. He was concentrating more on defending than attacking which was a good sign. I liked how composed he was on the ball.

James is injured atm :( Shame he is getting injured a lot of times.

Thanks and wish you the same mate.

.

We need someone like Ravel with tricks in the middle. He made one pass with right and swing left foot move, defender was following the left foot direction. He was fooled so easily. And trust me he is quick. For someone playing in the middle he is **** quick.

United have given Premier League squad numbers to Will Keane (48), Ravel Morrison (49) and Jesse Lingard (53).

I don't buy this **** that we don't need sneijder because he is a same type of a player as Rooney! Rooney can do both,He can be No.10 player and can finish the game as a proper striker! It would give us enough depth because only problem cleverley has is Injuries! And we can not afford injuries to such a important player considering the strength of city.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in his first season as a manager, wins the league with Molde for the first time ever in the club's history.

Cleverley is out for a week only so that's a good news! Rafael might play in the reserves in midweek so that's another good news!
