The Manchester United Thread

Both links says he was sold.
"signed for German side Hannover 96 on a two-year deal."
Don't know many loan deals for 2 years tbh ;)

it was initially reported as loan 2 days ago

Maybe was suppose to be a loan but Diouf thought it would be better to stay there?
I don't know. Just repeating what the links say so could be wrong.

Welbeck played pretty well, but he misses that goal scoring touch and presence in the box.

initial report could be wrong. ill go with what the united website says later on

Merseyside Police say no arrests for spittling on the Hillsborough memorial - some Utd fans ejected for spitting in ground.

The one Scholes bossed and the one where Liverpool scored winner by Route 1 goal relying on Carroll winning aerial duels.

You mean the one where our 35 million pound striker won the flick on to Dirk Kuyt were Evra was out of position? Yeah, must've been jammy.

I think we sold Diouf not on loan.

Nick Coppack who works for Manutd.com confirmed it.

Not all paperwork is signed yet but Diouf is having his medical today. The only #mufc player I've seen score a header from outside the box.

Because paying 18 million for someone with the potential to be a world beater instead of 18 million for a good keeper with less than 10 years left makes significantly more fiscal sense.

I rather have 10 seasons of proven ability rather than someone who will 'potentially' give me 20 seasons of good goalkeeping for 18 million

In a footballing sense that is

In a fiscal sense, its a gamble as well cos your hoping he will fulfil his potential which more often than not, does not happen

Good win for Liverpool. Neither team played particularly well really, but well on getting the result.

sunilvk7, your posts are as predictable and laughable as always. Keep it up.

Famous atmosphere and fan/s, making monkey gesture.

He clearly has an itch.

Also, if these reports of the 3 United fans spitting on the memorial are true, that'll also be bad.

2 jammy goals and we are out. We deserved at least a draw but football is about what you make most of it. We didn't. Hard to take this defeat. And stoke would be proud of that route 1 goal.

Edit: Well done Liverpool for getting the result.

Scholes is still THE BOSS.

Lucas is the boss. Scholes is Ginger.

the three united fans were made up danny, see liverpool thread

Given the number of key players we have missed, we couldn't have done any better.

Vidic, Rio, Jones, Anderson, Cleverley, Fletcher Nani, Young, Rooney all missed the game. Still we were the better team. Shame about the result though.

No shame at all, I though the result was fantastic.

A goal is a goal. Doesn't matter if it was a tap in, or a 50 year screamer.
