The Manchester United Thread

By my calculations, our fixtures won't be affected by the fa cup, were not due to have a game when the 5th round is played, probably rightly as some reds will still be stoned in amsterdam then, on 6th round weekend we have wolves away, who are alreasy out!

I can't believe that I have read something like this on United and Redcafe Forums! Half of the fans are purely deluded!

Everyone saying sir alex should retire, get of the sofa, get your training badges and show how good you really are at running a club, then say it again.

Did they do Coaching Badges when Fergie started 30 years ago in Scotland??? Me thinks NO they didn't. He is an old pro footballer who had connections, an amount of skill and an enormous chunk of luck throughout his career!!! He earns between £2-5 million pounds a year for putting a few names on a team sheet every week. He doesn't take any part in training sessions and relies heavily on his brother to scout for fresh players. He is arrogant, rude and pig-headed. He should retire NOW, and if I could earn his salary then I would gladly take my coaching badges.

Ferguson failure to compete in the transfer market, plus his unwillingness to give youths a chance, are becoming more and more of a joke as the time passes by

From now on only 'fmbase'; more sane supporters than anywhere!

Never ceases to amaze me how these people have the IQ to open a door, let alone turn on a computer and type the ***** they do.

I know right! I mean if you can't support a team through good and bad spells! Don't support them just shut the mouth!

Morrison to West Ham..... oO)

Ravel Morrison to leave Manchester United for West Ham - Telegraph

I sure hope the Telegraph have it wrong and it's a Loan deal or at least United get first choice on buying him back. Cause this doesn't really make sense imo.
I suppose it does sort of make sense in the fact that his contract ends at the end of the season, and would of been allowed to move for free, but if all the talk about him being a huge talent is true, this is a great deal for West Ham and a loss for United.

I do wish him well though. If hes going to be huge, It can only be good for English football and the England team.

If Ferguson decides to bring a 37 year old out of retirement rather than giving him playing time, then what else can he do but move?

You'd take an inexperience & troubled 18 year old over an experienced 37 years old?
Morrison should be patient imo.

He's 'troubled' because he is getting continuously overlooked for selection.

Yes, I would.

Erm....no. Being overlooked for selection isn't troubled. Being arrested and charged on two accounts of witness intimidation is troubled.

Yeah fair enough. I actually forgot about that.

Doesn't change the fact that overlooking a young, talented prospect and bringing a 37 year old player out of retirement is going to make anyone want to question their future at the club.

I can only assume he isn't being selected because of that prosecution.

I highly doubt it, considering the only reason he's not in prison for like 3 counts of assault and 2 of witness intimidation is because he is a footballer. Also, those assaults were on women, classy.

United obviously don't feel that his talent is worth his controversy.

Tbf, has anyone even seen this kid play, or just agreeing with media hype? I haven't..

Think it's something to do with unrealistic wage demands or something-hard to say tbh. A lot of people are saying he's pretty egotistical and expects too much too soon aswell. If that's the case he's made a mistake and thrown away a potentially excellent career at a fantastic club, which would have got the best out of him. As people say-patience is a virtue.

Superb talent. At youth level he level or 2 above others. Its not just media hype, he has god bags of talent but shame about his attitude.

And looks like Mr "I dont know anything but still I will post ****" has posted his opinion, ******* **** promoting young player to first team is not simple process, its a step by step process which we are following ever since Fergie took over. Meh anything to post **** about club for few desperate people.

Troubled because he is overlooked for selection, lol.
One of the most retarded thing you will read on any forums. He was troubled kid even when he was 16. Morrison is not even a pure CM, Scholes come back has nothing to do with, if anything it will make Pogba think twice. Morrison is #10 and play maker who can play on left wing. B

Anyways on Morrison, if he doesn't want to work like Cleverley, Welbeck then well sooner he leaves, better it is. I'm a big fan of his but it is getting too much. He has not even played full 90 mins but thinks he can demand bigger contract than what club are offering. Have a good one at West Ham, hopefully we will sign him after few years.

Sunil, if I've upset you so much in the past, then I am truly sorry buddy.

Clearly you're emotional, so I'll leave it there. x

Way to cover you face. You can work wonders at Sun, Daily mail as you 'like them' linked Morrison leaving the club with Scholes return. Well even they will be embarrassed with the story you came up with.

Anyways here is it in even simpler words.

Morrison - Attacking midfielder, #10, Playmaker who can play from left wing position.

Scholes - CM, Deeplying one that is.

How are both related as they dont even play same position? (I'm not even surprised).
