That's a good thing more than bad imo. Phenomenal decision making, doesn't needlessly shoot pot shots, but when there's no better option and he thinks he can have a good shot, he can belt them.

Yeah, that's good to an extent but sometimes I think he switches even when he get clear sight at goal. At younger age he used to shoot a lot..

And what a brilliant shot by Carrick. Even he can but rarely does. What a shot he has got.

Just last week City got dubious penalty and yesterday Chelsea were gifted 2 goals. No one said anything about it, when it comes to United they just can't resist.

95% - Paul Scholes completed 114 of his 120 pass attempts today. Only 3% of those went backwards. Playmaker. And Yes If England don't take Carrick to Euro's and start him then they are absolute Idiots!

Truth of the matter is, the decision was rediculous and it was clearly offside.

Having said that, I think it had very little impact on the result, before the decision we were playing all over them and they had got the ball once in our half in like 10 minutes of play with 11 men on the field. The decision was unfair yes, but it had no impact on the result to be honest.

So happy anyway, 20th title is practically ours, well done Fergie for doing more genius this season.

For next season we need to strengthen in the summer though, Javi Martinez and Christian Eriksen would be ideal, but we do some good signings in midfield. Also next season we should make sure we do not just 100% focus on premiership, we need to do better in Europe as well, our European football was awful this season.

True enough. That dive was shocking though. He needs to get that out of his game, Utd aren't a team of divers and that was one of the most obvious dives you will see.

People on this forum seems to say United don't get as much of a hard time as Chelsea and Liverpool (Suarez!) do with this sort of thing, so lets just say diving full stop can leave the game regardless of the team you support.

Modric will cost a ton, undoubtedly a great player and would fit United brilliantly, but I think we are more likely to go for someone like Christian Eriksen from Ajax, he can be just as good with time!

I believe Eriksen wants to stay at Ajax for now, and wants to play for Barca in the future; so I'd forget about him. Luka would cost far too much, and I think the attack-minded midfielder we bring in has to get us goals too...and Modric doesn't score enough. After the way Gylfi has performed for Swansea, I'd go for him and then spend the big bucks on Javi Martinez.

I am not sure if Barca would want him, especially when you consider the current midfield they have and I am not even sure he is on their radar, Sigurdsson has been good, but is he good enough for United? Not really sure.

Not as consistent as he used to be and he is 31 in May, very good point, but I can't think of a replacement, quite a hard position to fill and I am not sure we could rely on Fabio either.

You have Rooney, Hernandez, Nani to do that. We need a player who can control midfield with intelligent play. Modric fits perfect. Yes, he would probably cost 30+ milion pounds, but he's 25, so it would be worth for.
On Eriksen. Great talent, but I doubt he's any better than Ando or Cleverley right now. We need world class mid right this second.

Good point, Leighton Bains fits perfect. Has technique like Evra, likes to bombard forward and he can score few from free kicks. However, he's not as fast as Evra.
