The Manchester United Thread

Lol. yep baines is good not sure fergie would go for him think evra will stay on for couple of seas yet while fabio n fryers continue there devopment. Got feelin fergie will go for martinez and kagawa in the summer?

Hmm I got a sneaky feeling Martinez/Eriksen and for some reason I think we might go for Dempsey, really under rated player, been top notch for Fulham and yet to sign a contract.

Fergie usually has suprise up his sleeve when comes to transfer, dempsey has been on fire this could be one to watch and hoilett out of contract aswell.

Win our next 3 and it will be all over imo, don't think City will win at Norwich.

Well, the way the Canaries took the game to us, they will find it a tougher game than they think. They were excellent against us. Love the way they play

Its starting to look over isnt it? Not counting my chickens yet. But, looking rosy.

It's over, you've won. Looking at the fixtures of both United's and City's. United have: Wigan, Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester City, Swansea & Sunderland - I personally can't see you losing any of them, and if you lost one it'd be the City game. Which now, won't make much difference.

City have: West Bromwich, Norwich, Wolverhampton, Manchester United, Newcastle & QPR - And I can seem them losing against Newcastle, too. But even if they win all them, chances are you'll have won all yours. Or, at least won't have dropped 8 points.

United will NOT mess this up.

How old is Sessegnon? Could be a cheaper option for attacking mid. Don't really no if he'd fit the ill but he's been quality for sunderland.

Dixon was a Man City fan as a child. He's obviously quite emotional right now :'(

What didn't you like, i thought he wasn't far off, main reason we won in my eyes was due to squad depth and dressing room....he mentioned both...
I'll agree to dressing room harmony being integral for United but squad depth? Really? Have you seen City's squad?!

So anyone else thought Gary Neville's reaction to Vermaelen blocking RVP's header on goal funny? Trying to hide his frustration

Problem is Barcelona and Real have their eyes on him, he will no doubt go to one of them.

Alba is a youth product of barca i cant imagine him going to madrid.Barca might go for him and yeah he would sign for them.He is a worth a try still seeing how good he has been this season.A better contract might tempt him.

Hardly like RM need a new LB considering they have 2 ****** good ones in Marcelo and Coentaro

He has a chance of going to Barcelona although Adriano has been very good when called upon; not sure Barcelona will be willing to stump up the 20-25m needed to buy Alba

If they wanted that much I would go for Leighton Baines, I believe when Coentrao has been playing he has been in the LDM positions for Real, mainly because Marcelo is first choice LB it seems.

Lets not forget regarding the strengthening midfield in the summer, everyone saying we need a holding player, which we do, why not try Lass Diarra? Surely he can't be happy sitting on the bench every game.

Lee Dixon blames injuries for City's downfall on MOTD2. Rofl.

Jack’s Not Back + Premier League Injury Table*|*LadyArse
Haha, that's just absolute rubbish! Of course, small injuries may have played their part (the table only shows injuries longer than a week, if I'm correct), but the facts are there in black and white. Manchester City have a massive squad, anyway, bigger and better than any other team's (in my opinion) and have hardly had any injuries this season!

Squad depth!? They have one of the biggest squads in the Premier League, and probably one of the best as well! They have 4 quality strikers, and their midfield and defence is packed with talent. The only place where they may not have enough quality in depth is goalkeeper, but Joe Hart hasn't missed many games (if any) this season - or at least I haven't not seen him not play!

Anyway, well done on basically secured a title, as usual, you were lucky as ****. Sincerely, a bitter Liverpool fan who hates the fact that Manchester United have more titles than us!

Don't expect us to do you guys any favours though-you could be in for a shock. Just like City ;)
You'll be tough, but you wont have a chance. I fancy 1-0 win.

No. Absolutely not. Hands off. No :@

Though I suspect we'll be getting quite a few bids for Baines, Jags, Fellaini etc during the next window. Which is why I pretty much intend to avoid it lol
Yep, I would love Bains and Fellaini ( as backup plan if we miss Martinez) at United. Would you be able to reject all bids for your player depends lot on DM. If he stays, most of your players will too.

How is Joe Hart in goal a weakness may I ask? He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world at the moment.
