The Manchester United Thread

WTF are you watching? He looks like our most dangerous player right now :S

Bet you didn't post that ***** when he scored in his last two games...

I've been watching the game and all I've seen is the fact that every time the ball's come near him, bar 1 good run, he's given away a foul or given the ball straight back to City.

I just don't see what he offers to the team to warrant being picked over Valencia, Young etc. Valencia can defend (and has been our best winger since he came back from injury) and Young causes full backs much more of a problem, which would have kept Clichy from bombing forward so much, as opposed to Nani who, even when he gets it, doesn't even look to exploit the space.

All I see when he plays, almost every time, is him giving it away needlessly and then failing to track back.

Nani isnt being direct enough, he keeps slowing down and cutting infield allowing Lescott and Kompany to deal with him and Rooney. Young and Valencia would be making sure Zabaleta and Clichy at the very least stay in their own half.

He's actually doing an ok job tracking back today. I can't believe you've been watching the game when you're reaction to that half is to call for Nani's head oO) Fergie probably picked Nani because he has 2 goals, 2 assists in his last two games and Valencia's form hasn't been as good for the past couple of weeks. Young doesn't cause more problems than Nani, and he's a dirty diver so he doesn't deserve to be starting ahead of our most unpredictable player.

Yeah, Young played fantastic, great ******* impact from him.

You're quite aggressive towards fellow United fans because they differ in opinion? And yeah Young did amazingly well for the 15 minutes he had on the pitch, did about as much as Nani did for 70....

You shouldn't let the emotion of losing make you lash out at other, people are allowed to have opinions (and believe me Danny's isn't as far fetched as you seem to think) without you having a go at them.

I didn't lash out at Danny but thanks for the advice...now I'm going to share a bath with a toaster.

Goals, assists and fantastic link up play?
I really don't understand how Nani still gets so much stick. Probably only Rooney has been better than him for us in an attacking sense since the start of 2010.
He's always going to give the ball away because his job on the field is to create chances and to do that he has to try the riskier passes which aren't always going to come off.
It's ridiculous really. Carrick has amazing pass completion stats but he gets slagged off for only passing sideways; while Nani tries risky passes but gets slagged off for giving the ball away. You really can't win.

No heart, no desire. Lost to a team that throws millions to be where they are. Only ourselves to blame with ***** performance's against Wigan and Everton. Sir Alex got tactics all wrong tonight. Title all over.

Hearing rumours that Darren Flecther will anounce he is to retire from football after illness tomorrow as well... this day get's better doesn't it.

I love Fletcher, for me, hes a United legend! Shame illness stopped him from doing what Giggs and Scholesey are doing!

will be gutted if fletcher retires! And well ****** off about welbeck least its at end of season ****** well ***** day!

It's all over twitter mate and one of the people saying it is from a reliable source.

Well this week is indeed a bad week if it turns out to be true. Let's hope Ferguson has some transfer treats waiting for us at the end of the season.
