The Manchester United Thread

Quite a few different sources (not highly reliable) are saying we have made an offer for Moutinho, would love this guy at Old Trafford.
 
Another youngster whoo thinks they can just walk into the Manchester United first team. Got Fabio anyway so bye bye.
 
Why all are these talented youngsters leaving Manchester United though? I can understand Morrison but Pogba and now Fryers

Because they are asking for crazy money. Fryers wanted 20k. Is a good young player, but isnt talented enough to deserve it. No major loss to United. Pogba had his head turned by his agent, who stands to make a £1m off the move to Juve.

20k p/w!!! You mean he will be getting that at Spurs?

Pogba was just a full on bell- ... I think Fryers wants more opportunities in the first team, you have to earn them at United though, but we do also have Fabio as well as Evra and I assume another Left Back is coming in. We got plenty of players for the Centre Back positions so maybe he just does not want the challenge to get into the side.

Wow I only expected this kind of transfer dealings from clubs like Chelsea- Coming in and throwing money around ***** nilly to tempt young prospects

AVB has somehow managed to convince Levy to shell out a pretty tidy sum for a yet untested prospect. 2-4m compensation and 20k p/w.

Don't think AVB had anything to do with it, Fryers has been linked with Spurs for months.

Not good enough for Fergie to offer 20k or whatever it is to keep him, I really don't know though, not seen much of him.
 
Anyone know how many more seasons Fergie will be managing for?

Fryers was quality for reserve team last year and fergie must have thought highly of him coz on interview couple weeks ago he was saying he would go on tour. Shame he gone really if he gets game time at spurs he will turn into quality LB no dout!

Pretty decent, quite versatile. Could be a solid player. Certainly behind Fabio in the pecking order, which may have been part of his decision to move, that and the massive wage hike.
