Yes! 4-1-4-1-2 formaton with Fletcher as DMC. Love this formation.

Yep, Cluj is defending very deep and we lack tricky winger to beat his man and cross in. Set piece is the only way we can score right now. We simply do not have player who can dribble past his man and create some space.

Lovely pass and great finish. This is why he's worth so much.
 
I still think our midfield is not strong enough to progress to the final of this competition, might reach semi if we get some good opponents, Fletcher as a Defensive type midfielder is better than what we had before (nothing to speak about) but there are a lot better players at doing it like mentioned before, Sandro/Tiote.

I think Fletcher plays best as more of a box to box, he just doesn't have the presence a Sandro/Vidal/Tiote etc. does.

Fletcher did it exceedingly well for 2 years. He is still short of fitness and rusty, but did his job very well.
 
I remember him giving the ball away very foolishly once towards the end but other than that he did well. I hope he overcomes this illness and comes back at least as the player he was.

Not just him. Anderson looks little rusty too, well not rusty, but he tiers quickly. We have decent midfield, no doubt about that, we just lack mobile destroyer. With him, we could compete with almost everybody. This is why Dembele wouldn't offer something different.

Indeed, Fletcher can do a very good job, but he is not the specialist we crave.
