Manchester United line-up:

De Gea - Smalling, Evans, Ferdinand, Evra - Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs - Hernandez, van Persie.

Bench: Lindegaard, Vidic, Cleverley, Fletcher, Buttner, Wootton, Tunnicliffe.

That bench looks extremely tame for what United are competing for this season. Not to mention Giggs starting, no alternative to an out of form Valencia. Scholes is not exactly in his prime now either.

Our squad worries me, especially if we picked an injury up to a key player e.g Van Persie, Rooney, Carrick. Definitely need some players in ASAP.
 
Oh ****, Scholes and Giggs starting together. Our midfield looks very weak.

Got draw wrote all over this one bench is truly shocking imo! Giggs,scholes,carrick all in starting line up NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
 
Buttner can play striker.
Lets take a look at potential midfield solutions that can play in BPL and UCL:
1) Fellaini. But would he fit?
2) Tiote. He has engine, but can he adopt more attacking game?
3) Lars Bender. Reminds me of Busquets, excellent positioning, good passing, very clever player. Maybe too similar to Carrick..
4) dunno.

Lars Bender is a breaker. He's more similar to Hargreaves really. He would be perfect for us.

Clearly not on our radar though, if he was then why would United be waiting. I can't think what they would wait for. This is where I question our scouting system and the signing of RVP (although he has been phenominal) would of certainly been more logical investing that on areas more pressing.
 
Why put scholes and giigs together **** put buttner in giggs place and ask both evra and buttner to swap places.

Leverkusen are doing really well, and he is really happy there, a scout has seen him, but that means nothing really.

Few times I watched Leverkusen during last and this season, he was spot on with his passing and positioning.

When you have a fullback who defends rarely its is the best to let them best swap which brings best out of both.I dont why you think it is poor for evra and buttner to swap.Buttner was great attacking in few matches he has played.
 
Current rules state it was a goal,

however I would be annoyed if that goal was given against my team..

The rules are seriously unconvincing, but if those are the rules, can't really say its wrong. Still incredibly annoying.

Because they play on same side. Simple fullback overlap is enough, then winger should cover the space left behind. I see your point, and I agree with the concept of it, but you don't need to swap them to do that :)
