The Manchester United Thread

It is though, if a keeper comes to punch a ball away it has to be decisive no matter what the scenario, he has decided to come for it. That punch went straight to a Spurs player who was in the box.

Have you seen the size of Vidic? See how well you punch a ball with him and Dembele blocking you off.

**** happens, one of those things that unfortunately costs us 2 points.

You all are bickering over whose fault it is that you lost two points. Fergie has been spoiling you lot. Try being a Chelsea fan for one day lads :P

Chelsea fans have it easy, we have to choose who to blame. For you, it's just Torres' fault! ;)

Point taken. :P

Its just a bit annoying how often De Gea unfairly gets stick

I think De Gea was great, just unlucky in the end. Defense was looking solid, so happy with the progress there. I wouldn't have been too disappointed with a point before the game anyway, so I think there were more positives than negatives.

World class and this is will be one of reasons if we win league because of saves like this he has made through out season!

As Jose once said having a world class keeper wins you 10-15 points a season. Yes De Gea has his faults but shot stopping he is world class.

The cross shouldnt have got into the box in the first. He actually gets a decent punch while being blocked off by two players, he actually beats both players to the ball, Vidic actually misses the header. Evra doesnt react quick enough, neither did the players in the box. So how is that his error?

Well on MNF Gary Neville agrees with me that the fact De Gea has to make a better punch if he commits to coming for the ball.

Yes, we said that, doesnt make it solely his error. As pointed out above.

Yes. In fact 2 gems from him.

The season where we wiped floor with every team in the league and had 8 players in PFA team of the year.

That was fantastic read..

Talking about bad articles----http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/may/14/sir-alex-ferguson-manchester-united this one is a gem. Read the comments about suarez and caroll...(the name is caroll...lol)

Oh Please would you all stop with the 2 points lost and stuff....We've lost 13 points in 23 games this season which is a fantastic record considering we've played each and every big team away from home. We've very good 8 game run in the PL before city come to visit Old Trafford on 6th of April by which I think the gap could be bigger. The only concern is if we get through to the latter stages of the CL and the FA Cup the squad is going to be pushed to the absolute limit I think....

tbh i thought we would lose at white hart lane but i see this more as a point. plus let's not forget if vidic was still on and fully fit it could have been a different story. But on to the next game now.

And it's looking more likely that a deal for zaha will be one by the end of this window :/
