The Manchester United Thread

Sunil, the point is, I'd like to think we can do better with 25m than Fellaini.

now that is what I am saying, I like him personally, but way better players out there for that cash and way better players I would personally like at United

I just said that I think Fellaini could fit in well if used correctly and at a bigger club with better coaching staff etc..

for that money we could get much, much better players!

Gundogan would be up there on the top for me though

Hopefully DM won't pinch Barkley from us-definately a future star.

Never did I imagine I'd be pleading with DM not to pinch one of our youngsters :(

Tbh I want only Fellaini. Baines would be good signing but we have Fabio whom I rate lot higher and also Evra had very good season. So 20 Million will be big waste IMO.

Mirallas will also be good signing and will add much needed spark on the wings. Some young players like Barkley would be good addition but might struggle for playing time.

Oh dear God, not Mirallas, we are not Sunderland or West Brom here bud :)

Barkley schmarkly.. I would imagine we would do what City have done with Rodwell! (albeit a better job) but it would be a waste now, if under say £10m then I would not mind!

David Moyes was interested in Ever Banega in 2009 and there were close to signing him, i think they had issues with work permit or something, hopefully he will sign him now. Bit nut case but very good player and one of the most comfortable CMs on the ball.

Nah dont want him, injury prone, was good many years ago and still decent now but, I would prefer Benat or Gundogan

Asier Illarramendi, for god's sakes. If an English team doesn't pick him up I'm going to be so annoyed. He is literally perfect. He's like an Arteta that can tackle.

Come on man, Mirallas is very good player, he can't be worse than Young and this season's Valencia. I think he can be a great player with better players around as he will get more space.

Gundogan is not realistic and also Banega's injury were freak accidents. Dude is very good on the ball and defensively also he is good. Now he is proving how versatile he is by playing in advanced position, not to mention he is brilliant there also.

His passing, dribbling is great and not bad tactically either. Like I said one of the very few CMs who did well against Barca at their peak.

Also I wouldn't mind Schneiderlin as a squad player. He is a good passer and very good defensively. Some very good CM along with Schneiderlin won't be a bad summer at all.

This isnt going to happen sadly in my opinion, though with Fulham picking up Amoribieta, you would think they might show some kind of interest in him, having been watching La Liga

NO

ASIER NOW PLZ

Who the **** is Asier?! We want someone like Sneijder or Kaka, someone with European experience, not to mention World cup finals.

You could do far worse than Schneiderlin IMO.

For those that haven't seen it I'm going to be doing a "A tribute to Fergie" Database and you get a say on the type of Db. Heres the link to the Thread in the editing section. A Tribute to Fergie

I was dumbfounded by your initial comment of not knowing who Asier was then proceeded to claim he would be a bad signing. How can you make that assumption if you haven’t seen him play?

Makes me wonder how many would have said the same of Ronaldo when he replaced Beckham.
