Sure, no one should take for granted first team place and players should appreciate the opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Even if his name is Messi and he's won just 3-4 golden balls. He needs to prove he's better than players like Young/Welbeck/Januzaj etc. After that signing him would be easy
