Well I didn't expect anything big this season anyway, guess it will actually happen. Yay.
Now time for the inevitable Man Utd are in crisis talks and the like. Along with the gloating of Man City and Chelsea fans. What a lovely year this will be oO)
 
Makes you wonder... did we have any intention of getting Herrera today or meeting his release clause? This whole imposter thing confuses me.
 
Word is that we refused to pay the buyout and they wouldn't come down on price. Disgraceful if true.

Turns out there werent imposters. They just tried to negotiate... with 2 hours left.

According to Daniel Taylor at the Guardian. Everything was in place, shirt number, announcement etc etc. But we wouldn't meet the release clause. Wtf has Machester United come to.

Oh no they did want him. They tried to negotiate... with no time or leverage.

What hurts me more...... the player really wanted the move, he was keen and he had everything we lacked in midfield. Could it still happen in last 20 mins? Appeal to FA for extra hour.
 
We have time to make sponsorship deals with a taiwanese tyre company but can't find £4m for Herrera?

The lad was willing to take a pay cut and we STILL **** it up. The pay cut over a 5 year contract leaves us with more than the extra Bilbao wanted, heads should really roll for this. Faith in Moyes' management and ability, zero in Woodward right now.
 
Who actually does the transfer dealings at Utd then? I'm not clued up when it comes to Utd obviously. Would love to know how that club is run

Bilbao dont lower many prices with replacements harder to find due to basque stipulations. Poor from United to try and negotiate with a few hours left

put up the fee or walk away immediately

Absolutely ******* ******! Poor herrera willing to take pay cut, club dilly dallying about ******* release clauses and fees how has this happened our club rep will have taken a massive dent! Fergie must be drowning in his wine. Wont even get Fellaini at this rate **** **** **** and arsenal get Ozil after we rejected the chance to sign him.
