We're talking about the same Cabaye who had a big tantrum when he heard a sniff of Arsenal?

Gimme some evidence Roma don't want to sell Pjanic.. you seen their midfield... it's hefty... definitely test their resolve at least. Any club can come out and say "we don't want to do business in January". Just like Mourinho said "I want him to stay" for Mata.

Gundogan is going to be one of the most sought after players in the summer.. what makes you think he will choose us over someone like Madrid when there is a good chance we won't even be in the Champions League? Going in now with a hefty offer may be a better chance of getting him, arguably. Or perhaps when Mata joins doing a Kagawa exchange... even more interesting.

I'm sorry Mike, we've heard the United bs long enough about players not being available... it's gone too far now... you have to make it happen... before it's too late... this season isn't going to spring to life with Mata.

I don't think Gundogan is an option in Jan. Dortmund won't sell him, they missed him big time. With him they have better chance in CL.

Btw, he hasn't signed contract yet and Madrid and ManUtd made bids. Reported by Bild.

Or Dortmund can go the IDGAF route, and hold on to him till his contract ends. They'd be reluctant to do that, but it did happen with Lewandowski. We should probably test Athletico's resolve in summer for Koke. Vidal move would be brilliant, but unlikely.

No one has an incentive to sell their best player now, in the middle of the season. Whatever we "test their resolve" with, they know full well they can keep their player for 6 more months, try and achieve their goals for that season, and then just demand whatever we originally "tested their resolve" with, because they know we're desperate. Mata is available because he isn't playing and wanted to leave.

Since when is it United BS? Big clubs barely ever do big business in January.

Give you some evidence?Jesus How about you actually do some reading for once? Garcia said he stays, not now but for the future, and that with Nainggolan they are stronger. They don't have to or want to sell him. If you had read up on Pjanic, you'd know Garcia had give an interview with mediaset on this.

Do you not understand that Dortmund don't want to sell gundogan, they will only sell him if they cannot tie him down by the summer? They have their own CL issues as they are 4th atm

We tested Barca's resolve and you did nothing but moan. So we do the same thing 3 times and fail three times. you'd moan then too.

We jus signed a huge player in 3 days who makes a statement, and unlike Ozil can play with our current lot easily, replaces Rooney if he leaves (20 goals and 35 assists in all comps last season). We still need more. But if you though we could do a near rebuild in January, you are insane. Considering you said we wouldn't get anyone, I don't see how you can even attempt to downplay this.

We need an LB CB CM. Couldn't get Coentrao, not yet needed to replace Vidic so can wait till summer. Need a CM, but really ones we want are not even semi available till the summer. So we're doing what the other big clubs and tryig to do work for the summer. But apparently thats something to criticise
