Not really. Mata is more of a final third player, Silva is a pure play maker who controls game better than any #10s in the league.

Depends. Many times in his first season at Chelsea, Mata would drop deep and set the tempo of Chelsea attacks. It's only under RDM and Benitez where he began to play more in the final third
