Agree mate was always a No10, just look at him at Porto! He did but never was a cm, poor decision to try and covert him he was a pure attacking midfielder but has had a handful of decent performances in the middle tbf but only a handful.
He has the gas tank of someone who plays 7 a side once a week.

So Sky Sports keeps posting articles similar to this one about Ronaldo coming back to us
http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/english-football/72998-manchester-united-thread-2930.html
What are the chances of that happening realistically? I know it is every united fans dream to see him back but is it actually possible?

You never know mate. But realistically speaking, he still has time left on his contract so transfer fee will likely be huge. The wages he will command will likely be huge as well. He is also 30 now and has had persistent knee troubles. Perhaps most importantly, he is not a player you need either
Then again, i personally think it will be awesome to have one of my favourite players back in the EPL and I can't even begin to imagine the joy United fans would feel if he comes back
You just linked to the previous page on this site.. =P In all seriousness though, it'd depend on a variety of factors.. We have to be back in the Champions League next year to even think about it happening. Also, will mostly depend on whether LvG wants CR7 back or not (depending on how much money is made available to him, and who he'll want to get with that money..)//
I don't think this is a 'I'll-use-another-club-to-get-more-money-from-current-club', since I believe he signed a new deal just last year. Plus, he has publicly spoken out against Madrid's recent transfers. Factor in Madrid's idiocy in transfers, and it could prove to be possible.
On the other hand, LvG needed a world class player on a similar mould, and he got it in di Maria. Whether he'll sanction a move for Ronaldo (29 y.o, crazy high transfer fee and wages) remains to be seen. Chelsea are also rumoured to be interested (who, along with PSG are probably the only teams other than us who can afford to get CR7). I doubt CR7 will want to move to the French League, so that only leaves Chelsea. If CR7 were to move, I think it'll only be for either us or Chelsea.
I'll tell you one thing though, one thing any fan would dread is Ronaldo playing for a Divisional rival. 1. Because he's one of ours. He's our Legend. 2. Because he's ****** lethal.
It would be quite annoying were United to resign Cristiano Ronaldo. It wins you the league again, I think it's that simple. He is that good
Haha, so I did, it is edited now, but I meant to post a link to G. Nev and that he basically said that there is a chance of him coming back home, but I agree with you completely. Either us or Chelsea, but I think maybe he has enough loyalty to us(possibly) of him saying no to Chelsea.
But imagine a front lineup of
-----------Falcao---------
CR7----Mata/Januzai/Rooney-----Di Maria
the stuff of dreams![]()
