Fellaini is totally rubbish, yes it was a good goal but in the team he never fulfills an actual position, wanders around everywhere and anywhere.

Our defence for both goals was absolutely rubbish as well.

We can't beat around any bush here, 3 pts was badly needed tonight and we've not got them.

Also there is problems with this squad still, yes we have Di Maria but when he goes off we then rely on Ashley Young. That's totally ignoring Januzaj, who was poor, but then again what can we expect when he's hardly been given a chance all season for first team.

I doubt Mata will play tbh! And Herrera I hope he is fit. Would swap Januzaj for Young if we play same formation and RVP for Falcao.

Well, for bad Januzaj performance blame has go to both Mata and Rafael as well. Rafael offered little when attacking, but when he goes up, things get better. Mata was nowhere to be found and quite slow on ball. I would give Januzaj chance in the hole and kept playing 4-3-1-2.

You can't really blame Mata too much, I mean WBA are known for being 2 banks of four solid with little space between the lines.

Agree Rafa was poor attacking tonight. Can see why Mata wont start on Sunday and think playing Januzaj there would be the same against City and Chelsea.

Fellaini was very good today. Hardly gave ball away, scored a goal, won the ball, won all his aerial duels and even played some nice passes.

And fulfilled his magical position which evolves all round the pitch.

We lack quite a few things, but we have no colossal CB at the back who organised the team well like Vidic.

Still think the midfield is lightweight and RVP is just..... meh I don't even know anymore.

Mata was bad today but it was the wrong kind of game for him, I think he's been pretty good so far at United in general.

When Di Maria is out of the team it looks a lot less exciting when having the **** squad players we still employ at the club who do nothing.

I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know and just keep posting for the sake of it.

He was playing box to box role and offered some physical presence in the box. If you didn't notice we were much better team when Fellaini came on.

Agree Mata will never be good in these types of games. RVP should be sold imo has lost his bit of pace and lacks even good movement anymore. CB will come but will have to wait till the one LVG wants is available.

His impact of physicality certainly helped in the box during our play when we were on top but he's positionally always all over the place.

It's so easy to go oh he's "box to box" but that actually means you have to still defend with the team as well being in the right place, far too often he's out of position in defensive phase wandering round like a headless chicken.

Got nothing against him, but he has these issues and despite the goal, it doesn't magically go away.
 
One point up on what you were at this point last season, something positive at least. <)
