The Manchester United Thread

Falcao is the only signing above 27....

Di Maria 26
Herrera 24
Rojo 24
Blind 24
Shaw 18

And Falcao isnt nearly 29, he's 28. so he has 4 or so years. Enough time for Wilson to come to the fore. Thats not short term planning at all. Also RVP was bought because Rooney was going to be sold, we had tried for Lewandowski before

And name me a better and younger striker than Falcao that we could buy instead

We're not doing this whole naming thing again because all that happens is I say someone and then you say it wasn't viable.

Anyway I'm not criticising our other signings, just think this one is a lot of money for a player we may only get 2-3 years out of.

If it's made permanent it will be next season (unless it is already but I don't know about that).

Apart from Rojo.. as I think we could of done better... but... I would of added another and Rojo. But that's another story.

When asked if #mufc could sign Victor Valdes, who's currently in rehab with the Reds, van Gaal said: "United always have their eyes open."

Cheers west ham for setting city up for a bouncebackability win in style vs us.

De Gea
Rafael---Jones---Rojo---Shaw
Blind
Herrera-----Di Maria
Mata
Falcao---RVP

This is what I expect to be the line up. Question marks could be asked over Mata due his form however he should be extremely motivated for this game. Falcao has that powerful presence which should keep Terry and Cahill busy as he has the movement and instinct in his play to see gaps. RVP is looking laboured and slow but I reckon Van Gaal will keep trying to play him into form ahead of Rooney's return.

Would have been interesting in Januzaj had performed well against WBA as he could have offered us that directness in the hole but personally I think he's played himself out of this game based on Monday night.

Really strong rumours that Radamel Falcao will not be in the United squad today. Apparently suffered a foot injury in training on Friday. What a jouro just tweeted at OT.

Wait so it's united vs chelsea and sky decide to have carragher and the massive bitter ******* called souness.

Would not supprise me if Oscar gets dropped for Willian in this game, Mou seems to do this for away games against big teams.
