The Manchester United Thread

TBH maybe its just me but even had Moyes got Bale,Cesc,Strootman or whoever I don't think we would of been any better off! Because look at the style football he had us playing and you here all the stories of players being unhappy under Moyes training and team talks ETC he just did have the personality or confidence to deal or get the best out of any top players imo. Anyways he is gone now and I fully expect and have confidence in LVG to take us back were we belong, and leave us in a good place throughout the whole club when his successor comes in.

McGrath was different class nevermind passion, we need a couple of defenders with half of his ability.

>_> They don't make defenders like that anymore. What wouldn't anyone here give to see a Stam or Pallister or Bruce? But that ain't gonna happen anytime soon, simply because it isn't in existence >_> But other than that, if our current crop can ****** stay fit, I'll be happy;; Jones has potential to be WC, but for his injuries (story of his life), Evans is solid in a 4 man defence, Smalling (although I don't rate him) turned in a pretty good performance against Arsenal, Rojo can only improve, and McNair and Blackett (dammit SI, improve 'em, pretty please?) are looking good for the future.

One line to summarize our campaign this year? Could have been brilliant, but injuried did them in :\

Shaw out until after new year hahahahahaha, the lad was barely injured if ever last season.

LVG said in presser that Evans,Rojo,Falcao could be in 18 man squad for Hull match. Also said Shaw is better than thought only few weeks away, since no complications with latest assesments. No news on Jones or Rafa maybe in the emabargoed bit that will be released at 22:30 tonight.

Oh and James has gone out on loan, with LVG saying he was impressed with him in the 1st team but needs to play more to improve his development.

The manager hopes to see a more ruthless streak from #mufc, adding: "We have to improve our playing style and beat opponents more easily."
