Rumours are Rafa and Evans will be back for Stoke game, I mean in the squad

Hopefully Smalling and Rojo gets extended run as a CB pairing. They look very good on the paper. You have everything there, Smalling is very good at heading the ball, one on one, pace and reading the game. Rojo is excellent on the ground duels, pace and ball playing skills. Both are quick too.

Only downside is that both are prone to sudden lapses of concentration, and occasional bad decision making. But yeah, Smalling's recent performances have been very good. Should be interesting, to say the least..

IMO that can be worked on. Even Rio had this concentration issues when he was younger then from 2006 onwards he was just flawless.

It's nice to see more to his game then being dirty destroyer who's aerial ability is handy to have. Probably something to do with LVG as well, his passing seems improved and his tackling is almost always spot on. Remember last season he was always on the verge of getting yellow card.
