Was not that bad! Just did not take our chances.

Need rooney back as soon as, any win is decent but thank **** for de gea and young dropping points that late to fecking stoke and their clan of mongrels would have been dreadful.

Yeah Rooney was just not risked tonight, and we will have Rafa and Evans back also. But I would stick with Rojo and Smalling they are forming a great partnership. Rojo looks a bargain if he continues like this! :)

Not great. We need players back for Southampton as I wouldnt be confident with this team and 3 man defence against better opposition.

We played 2 at the back. I thought we played well just not took our chances. Will have 4-5 players back for Southampton.

Which 4 or 5? no point playing evans or rafael, would you risk di maria's hamstring no matter how small the tear? and then rooney and his knee but hopefully that's nothing.

Evans,Rooney,Rafa,DiMaria and read that Jones will be back in training this week and Lingard but to early for them.

Very pleasing to see Smalling being so confident on the ball. He was not afraid to play some nice passes and also to dribble. He is getting better and better every game. Rojo was good too but he sort of lost few duels against Diouf but apart from that he was very good. His composure on the ball is just brilliant.

Fellaini has become so important player for us, never thought he will play any mins at all this season when Napoli move looked on the cards.

Herrera had poor first half but second half was much better.

De Gea and Young are heroes and saved the day.

Smalling reminds me now of Ferdie in his pomp, composed dribbling out from the back. And him and Rojo compliment each other really well, rojo passing is quality! Always knew Fellaini would turn out good, people just judge him on his looks and poor season under Moyes. Herrera defo grew into the game, even when not playing well is like a little terrier all over the park helping out. De Gea was immense when we needed him again. And Young is thriving under LVG good squad player now.

What a fantastic keeper De Gea is. Not going to lie I did taunt him a few times when he first joint utd and struggled at times but now he is easily in the top two keepers in the country along with Courtois for me. Too difficult to decide between the two which one is slightly better both are just as good for me personally.

WTF greedy from Wilson!

I didn't see is as greed. Confidence is the word I'd use. He looked at RVP, thought - **** it, I can rape Shawcross with my speed and get into good position. And he did. Too bad he missed the target though.

Greed is when you take shots with unprepared position or akward angles where a better pass is available. Ie how Sturridge used to be at Chelsea. He would just constantly hoof at the goal everytime there was a smallest opening.

I'd probably rate Courtois a bit more but both are miles ahead of anyone else in the league with cech and loris been the closest to them.

On another note, if rooney has done his knee and the scan comes back bad then we could be ****** but hopefully it's not to bad and even without him i hope we still drag ourselves to 3rd/4th.

Hardly ******, RVP-Falcao-Wilson is still better striking force then any other team bar City. Worst case scenario you can revert to one striker system. Van Gaal isn't Rodgers, he's not going to obsessively stick to one system if it becomes apparent he has no players for it.

On top form yes, but rvp hasn't hit top form for 15 months or so, falcao has just one goal and has come off a long layoff plus a few niggles and wilson is still very raw and plenty of defenders will handle him due to their experience but he is a fantastic prospect.

Rooney is our key player without doubt and we lack loads without him. No doubt we'll get through alot of games without rooney or di maria but i'd fancy us much more against the saints and liverpool with on or both in our team.

Falcao didn't look like himself yesterday. but I'm putting it down to lack of match fitness.

Another 3 pts on the board can't complain, wasn't our best performance but still managed to win with a makeshift team in places.

Yeah 3 points is all that matters atm. Don't blame Falcao, cant get into a game with so little time left plus his fitness. LVG said Blind might be back end of December.
