Yea, Mata is world class when he has space around him. He's not the one to create space for him self especially when facing opposition who's defending with 10 players. Rooney is a striker, he slows the play so much when he's in midfield. Falcao wasn't fit and RVP didn't get enough balls because Rooney isn't creative enough, Mata didn't have space and Falcao is similar to RVP when it comes to creating space. Fletcher isn't energetic as he was 3 or 4 seasons ago, he offers a little bit in offense. Bar RVP, no one has individual quality to dribble past his man and even RVP isn't very good at it. Problem today was midfield. They didn't provide support for wide players who were double teamed most of the game.

United missed Herrera today so badly. He's excellent for providing support for attacking players. Di Maria as well with his individual quality. As long as United is 3rd I'm happy. Next season it has to be contest for the title.

Okore came to the attention of Chelsea fans when he put in a fantastic performance against us in the CL a couple of years back for Norsjelland (sp) ... Solid CB imo

Would rather have Jones over any of them if he stays fit.

Sure? it was something along the line of myself and someone else saying we need defenders in jan and the summer but you and another poster said we need better/more midfielders. Something like that but it afair few weeks ago so it could have easily of been someone else.

For me i'd like 2 midfielders and 2-3 defenders coming in over the next 12 months, also another forward with rvp aging, wilson been an unsure entity and well falcao just currently not doing it.

And a winger haha.

Don't know why anyone would want Vlaar his injury record is shocking. We need some fit defenders and a consistent back 4.

I have been happy with our squad but have always said we need to strengthen in summer.

Seems good when I see him but I'd be lying if I said I regularly watched him.

Imo and i'm almost certain LVG will agree our squad hasn't been right and hasn't been great since 2011 and even that one was a shadow of the 2009 one. Don't want to get into it now but poor squad building from fergie and moyes since.

Obvously we're third and it's great but there is a reason we keep getting hammered by pundits and oppo fans and it's not all down to hatred for us.

I just think that he has been good in his cameos with important goals and assists. Can see him starting more and improving a lot. I agree our squads have not been great for a while.
 
If fellaini and herrera miss the xmas period we're ****** tbh with fletcher, rooney and mata as midfielders.

Look i haven't got this agenda against us or any player but i'm just saying it how i see it, i would love for falcao to win us the game against newcastle, spurs, at anfield, at chelsea etc etc and yes i agree he needs time but unless we go to a diamond or stick with this 352 ***** were does he fit in when rvp and rooney are fit?

Luckily the both of them only missed due to illness! Would like to see 442 diamond with Rooney behind RVP and Falcao. All STRs will get game time with rotation and the comps we will be in next season.
 
Just watched replays of the gabby sending off, not a red for me no chance.
