You take a risk either way bale could come in and get injured for 10 months, who knows. Godin might stay fit for 3 years and if that happened he'd be worth the 30m it's a risk you have to take.

For me the age thing is nonsense, i blame the fifa and fm generation.
 
Liverpool winning again and probably smash leicester, great start to the new year. I'd put very good money on them catching us.

I never played FIFA lol and hardly a hard core FMer. We wont have a chance for Godin anyway not in Jan. So I would rather sign someone like Schar.

You're mental imo if you don't think arsenal will jump above us or get real close come may, wenger knows how to get 4th. Liverpool will come close and probably finish 5th especially once sturridge they have legit pace and an attacking threat plus they've already had their bad patch they'll push on now.

From what I have watched last 2 seasons I would say last year he was like Jones, come forward and a bit rash CB. But after having a good WC he has really come on this season and has become a lot more assertive/vocal and is great in the air in both boxes. Can also play out from the back using both feet. I really like him as of WC not so much last season.

Arsenal will be there or there abouts. Only 4th to play for imo, taking things into consideration. Arsenal wont get 4th every year with Wenger imo, not with there squad.

Southampton 1-0, i'd love for them to get 4th aslong as they don't turn up when we play them next weekend.

Wouldn't mind the diamond with di maria as a cm and rooney in the number 10 further forward so he can stop with the 20-30 yard balls and we might actually play in little triangles and use it better.
 
I'd be tempted to drop rvp, play rooney up top with falcao and mata in the hole.

I cant see LVG ever playing a diamond again after saying was to open to play against and was not happy how the team performed on MUTV. Think he wants to go back to 433. Would love some speedy tricksters and a couple of Defenders and CMs over the next 2 windows. Lots out there.

I thought Rooney was **** up top today his movement was poor and just stood near the CB the whole time. Like Neville and Yorke said we suffered when Falcao went off and Rooney went up top.
