No world cup either so it'll be intresting right from May/June. Can see us getting a CB fairly early especially if we don't get one this month.

Yes mate! Will get defence done early i think, but can see us being quick in this window ala Fergie style get all leg work done know then most the transfers done in the first month. Still reckon Woodie will please us with another Di Maria type transfer bit later on in window:)
 
LMAO just been watching the fan cams on FULLTIMEDEVILS showed LVG walking out to the coach after the match and all Utd fans were stood by the coach chanting 442 as he was walking out to it :)

Cavani's been completely wank each time I've seen him play for PSG. Being played out of position is not excuse for ****** first touch, decision making and constantly missing sitters.

Not when I have seen him tbh. And I watch PSG in Ligue 1 and not just CL.

Even when we were linked to him, quite a few oppo fans hoped we'd ***** the cash away on him. Must be quite 50/50 with him in terms of who rates him.

Agree mate defo seems like that with our fans to when linked. I would be happy if he replaced Falcao/RVP. Last season I think he got about 22 in 40 apps and this season about 15 in 22 apps mainly chucked out wide to fit Ibrah in as STR not bad imo.

Even if we go 4-3-3, surely a defender is more pressing issue.

Can still in up with; Di Maria, Rooney Adnan as a front three.

RVP is going no where this summer, following summer maybe, and i dont really want to see someone come in and slow down Adnan and Wilson's development and first team chances.

No need to worry about that mate they will either get plenty game time next season with being back in the CL or a loan for both would not be a bad idea.

Loans are so dodgy though, need to go to the right clubs, not just anywhere. Would be happy if Adnan went to spain or somewhere like that and played alot of games, Moyes can have him.

But Wilson could end up at a relegation style club and be mucked around, ruined confidence and really harm him playing time.

Our squad is very big at the moment and the only reason we dont really see or apprecitate it, is the amount of Injuries we have had this season.

If we add 4-5 players and have better luck with Injuries, then suddenly our young crop arent going to be getting any game time,

Wilson, Adnan, Blackett, Mcnair etc will be forced out for first team football, Much like Pogba before him.

No doubt cb's and a full back is much more pressing but i'm sure van gaal has targets in every position minus goalkeeper.

Blackett isn't great tbf and his contract is up this summer, evans might leave which will leave space for a new main cb and then mcnair if we keep will still get chances because of injuries. I'd rather we get top quality players and not worry about maybe's like mcnair.

And we also need to look at replacing Carrick, the guy is 33 and not going to last forever and is so important to us.

Tbh i dont think McNair or Blackett are good enough and wont be here next season as McNair turned down a contract offer and we will be buy better CBs in the summer. Wilson and Adnan will always get game time as LVG rates them highly.

I agree top quality is important, but Manchester United was built on Young players from the Academy and that is our identity as a club, And Maybes like McNair are important to use as a club.

Evans may well go, But i would imagine we will sign 2/3 defenders this summer, so losing someone like Evans( Personally i think Smalling will go and Evans stay) isnt a great loss
