That's the point, they're not. Meanwhile Young/Valencia had been used on occasion as FBs in 4 man backline, so they can fit in comfortably as wingbacks in 3-5-2. So 3 at the back opens up extra depth that's otherwise just sitting there.

In any case I kind of want 3-5-2 thing to work, just so I can stop hearing ridicolous arguments that there's supposedly something uniquely special in the Premier League that magically prevents teams from succeeding with a formation that has proven to work all over the rest of the planet.
 
De Gea's agent quotes rather worrying, didn't rule out Real Madrid, said things change every 5 minutes, I really think he wants the move and we are in a weak position given how long contract he has left it isn't that long.

Nothing reliable about DDG agent just what was on BBC gossip page. The usual sources have said he's close to signing so I believe them more tbh.

That's my point we don't have specialised players hence why system is not working. 352 is not the problem it's the players playing in it.

I agree that you don't have the specialised players for a 3-5-2 formation. But the 3-5-2 system just doesn't work in English football, sure it's alright in Italy but that's because the Serie A is slow, the BPL is far to quick for the 3-5-2.

I agree.
It breaks my heart when I see our CB's rushing forward, only to get caught out by a simple ball over the top on the break.
If we had defenders with a bit of cop on, discipline and vision, they could maybe sense the danger and get back to deal with the issue before it becomes a problem.
Unfortunately, we continually end up scrambling back in a blind panic and the box becomes a game of pinball.

Playing 3-5-2 again means another dull game.

At least excited to watch Wilson play, hopefully he builds on the good cameo he had vs QPR.

I know just that it's been so long since I enjoyed ManUtd game. I miss fast tempo and fast wingers game that we used to play before. Not always great games but the intention and the effort was there for all to see. I miss that fast game.

Also like I said 3-5-2 our players look clueless.
