The Manchester United Thread

How was he today?
He was class today wide right. Stayed pretty wide tbh to give more space to our 3 in CM then when we were in possession he came in so we could get the overlaps from the FB. And when he came inside he and Herrera were causing havoc. Also did good job tracking back.

I've nothing clever or interesting to say about that match today. I'm just in shock really.
Warned my nephew (He's 10 and gets upset when they lose) not to expect much today, except for Kane tearing us a new *******.

I couldn't have been more wrong.
That put a super smile on my face and I'm set up for the week ahead now.

Won a few hundred on a double (horses) and United carved spurs up for Sunday lunch.
It's a nice day to be alive and I've just poured a bottle of Guinness West Indies Porter.
**** I'm happy ;)

OptaJoe @OptaJoe Follow 2.2 - Man Utd have taken 2.2 points per game when Michael Carrick has featured this season (15 games) vs 1.6 without him. Catalyst.

LVG : "Michael Carrick is not not my second captain for nothing. He is one of the best passes also, not only wide but also forward. We need midfielders who have that passing. When you can also score the second goal you have a big influence in the game."

Ander Herrera's game by numbers: 91% pass accuracy 4 tackles won 4 interceptions 2 take-ons 2 shots Excellent.

Such a talent and is starting to show some big performances against big teams, he's done well pretty much all season and did well in many games, including last game against Arsenal in first half, even though he got subbed.

Can't believe some people would even consider the thought of letting him go, just ridiculous.
