So basically LvG confirmed that 4-3-3 he played last night is his intended formation in the club, if we have players for it.

Except a 4-3-3 has been pretty standardly used by him in his career? Right, that can't be it..
 
Game vs Spurs showed how important it is to have a striker with some pace and also physical presence. Rooney was stretching the defense, played superb passes and pressed their CBs and midfielders all game. Hopefully we don't sign Falcao, let RVP leave and play with lone striker with Hernandez and Wilson as back ups.

We played 4-3-3 also in late fall/early winter, before we had another injury crisis on our way. So it wasn't the first time by mile. We just have lacked the proper players for it.

Not arsed about transfers this time round, i only end up getting excited like a little girl but after falcao and to an extent di maria i won't have any expectations this summer.

Apparently Falcao has all but said he expects not to stay and still nothing new on the RVP transfer dispute hope he leaves. Seen few rumours Chico going to one of the Milan clubs.
