LOL. I think there is something in most these rumours tbh as they are very frequent and players we have shown interest in the past and scouted them this season. Also LVG has name checked some of them. And some reliable links also.

Bild can be as bad or as good as any. But its well known that we scouted him closely and pics in the media with Firmino agent. Also its well known that we want Hummels so Bild being pretty reliable there tbh. There is no such thing as 100% reliable but Bild can be pretty spot on.
 
Be very pleased with firmino, depay, right back, cb and maybe/hopefully another cm/dm who is either box to box or more defensive minded.

Wouldn't be against just one cb and keeping rojo and smalling fit while having jones/mcnair as backup. Otamendi and hummels might be a bit pointless if smalling and jones stay and that's not even mentioning evans.

I can see McNair and Blackett going out on loan Evans sold and maybe 1 other but if only Evans that still leaves us only 3 CBs for 50-60 + games and 2 of which with poor injury record.

Obviously if that is the case then yeah two will probably be needed but two new cb's costing over 70m when we have a couple of perfectly good ones just seems a bit ott tbh.

Also guessing firmino and depay would mean no felipe anderson? Would probably be a bit silly going for him also and spending another 30m on an attacking midfielder.
 
Hummels, Clyne, Depay and CM would make me happy. Oh, and a striker too (Lacazette, please, or Vietto)..

Have a feeling we won't be signing a striker tbh because of depay's versatility, rooney, wilson, probably keep rvp and firmino can also play up top. With the links to depay and firmino it does seem we're going in this fluid 433 formation.

Yeah just seems to be that Hummels and Otamendi deals seem more likely. Maybe LVG don't think Smalling/Jones are good enough to be starting week in week out who knows LOL. Yeah Anderson don't make sense with Depay looking likely. And Firmino seems like an LVG type good signing to play numerous roles and is good as STR also.

Do what you want mate, I honestly can't be bothered to even read a word from Bild. There are plenty of other medias who claimed United is interested in Hummels

I mean i give them stick but surely we aren't shipping out jones and/or smalling? I give british players stick but i've always liked united having a british core and imo smalling can still be a top defender.

What lol? I know there are the Bild one was the 1st one I came to that's why I posted it as I read it from various sources also. Bild are as reliable as anyone.
 
While we are at it in the bundesliga looking at firmino, wouldn't mind them taking a look at lars bender and Xhaka.

In terms of who we're after? yeah i agree it seems Pogba is the only one really getting linked and that just seems like lazy journalism.

I think there is a bunch of under the radar type that could do well like Xhaka and the lad from roma (not strootman) and then you have everyones current fave from southampton.
