Not sure whether Clyne is all that people seem to think he is, talented player but probably just as good looking abroad for less. Shouldn't moan about someone like Hummels when we still have Evans but he's had a poor season, splashing the cash on him would be risky, considering Dortmund will most likely fleece us.

Oh and I'd say by a country mile our best new player this season has been Blind, if you consider the whole of the season and how consistent he has been, not to mention playing multiple positions well. Rather scary when Navas left him for dead yesterday though, good job he didn't score or else could of been a totally different game as it would of been 2-0 City at that point.

Forget Cavani, it would be Falcao all over again, Rooney will be main striker next season so we want someone young and hungry more than anything, Dybala would be a good shout.
Yeah after thinking about it Cavani just wont make any sense. I think our STRs next year could be-

Rooney-RVP-Ings-Wilson
Rooney-Ings-Nathan-Wilson

If we stick with RVP I'll be gutted, we should be aiming to be challenging on all fronts next season, even CL if we're back in it.

Also I'd be horrified if the best we can find for another striker is ****** Danny Ings.

Clyne would be great imo and fairly cheap and good rotation with Valencia starting though. If we can get Hummels for about 32m euros what is quoted would be great buisness imo.

Rooney will be our 1st choice and i just cant see us spending mega money on another top STR young or old. Im not saying Ings is the answer but would not mind him as an option like 3rd choice.

Good midfield option would be someone like Schneiderlin tbh, not sure whether we need a big name there just for the sake of it. Although lets face it there is going to be a lot more games next season (assuming we are in CL).

Herrera,Blind,Rojo all been good signings even Di Maria with all his assists and early season form. Been frustrating for Shaw but we have all seen he is a top FB in the Prem. Blind has been great at LB but could see he will struggle with balls over the top or players that have the run on him. Not sure who our signing of the season will be. Im going with Herrera :)

I think we are building a SQUAD of players. Yes now Blind is great at lb but he can offer something different at dm/cm and Shaw can offer something different at lb. And this is just one of a number of examples.

Not bad selection but Gundogan is injury prone

Well, Gundogan does sound suspiciously like Hargreaves Mk.2, but I dunno.. He'll probably be available on the cheap, considering he has a year left. Considering the amount we have to spend on the others, probably a good, cheap option to have..

Btw, does anyone think any of our youth players could get a chance next season? I'm hoping for Ben Pearson, but not sure if he's ready//

That's it though mate he aint. He has had his back problem but is now sorted and playing regular and proving that he still is a top player. Will need rest of this season and pre season to get his fitness and match level back. But at 15m what a snip!!!

Pearson,Lingard,Janko,Perrera for me.

Isn't Pereira's contract set to expire at the end of the season? Lingard, dunno, hasn't made that much progress and can't see him displacing our current players. Janko and Pearson would be pretty nice.. xD

Btw, what happened to Nick Powell?

Honestly don't understand why people are calling for another top/world class striker like Cavani.. Say we do buy him and we keep this 4-3-3 going, that means Rooney will have to drop into midfield probably replacing Fellaini and risking losing the balance and aerial presence... I agree that we do need another striker but maybe not one of quite so much quality that he'd be expecting to play, Danny Ings is a decent shout.

Perrera contract does yes but has been talks of ongoing negotiations to renew. Lingard has done well everytime on loan and in pre season last year. Also LVG named him as one for the future and a good talent. Nick Powel needs to sort his head out, could be a good player if he does Joyce and Fergie have said he has it in him to make it but its up to him really. Janko and Pearson have been great on loan this season. :)
