Don't be too sure. He could really have revitalized his career at Chelsea leading the line and led us to back-to-back EPL titles. Mourinho absolutely adored him as a player. It's a decision United would have regretted

Which is why I said 'revitalized'. Leading the line in his favoured CF role under a world-class manager in a different environment could plausibly have done wonders for his morale and confidence. Instead he fought with his old boss (SAF), wasted a season under a clown (Moyes) and only somewhat stabilized under LVG

I mean it could have happened and he'd still score goals even if is poor, he's always done that but at that time he would have been sold to the AVB chelsea? No doubt you could have gotten a couple of good seasons out of him.

Tbf to him he was good at the back end of 2011 and 2012 but since.

I don't think you can label them as 'clowns', people were right (At the time) to criticise United's purchase of Martial IMO.

They are clowns, pundits and journos who have probably only watched the lad when he played arsenal and are clueless to world and european football.

Signings of that price is always going to make headlines, can't really blame them as it sells papers but some of the ones who wrote him off before he even played as a wasted buy were total clowns. Daily Mirror *cough cough*

Possibly, but nevertheless the criticism towards the deal was warranted/understandable IMO.
 
Hate to say it, but Valencia has had an impact on this game, going forward with the ball is something Darmian needs to do more often. Defensively can't fault him.
 
I think I'm already in love with Martial.

Can play football, and he just causally helps out other players while the game is going on. Kind of player you should love, unlike that Costa ****.
