Man that was appalling defending.

Smalling read that totally wrong.

Man alive how'd Rooney miss that?

Fitst time I've really seen Martial here. Impressive. Needs to not drift as much and hold his position more in this system but that will come with experience. But technically sound and confident and direct. Got to love that in a forward.

****** ****, how much more luck* can Wolfsburg have? I mean, almost every rebound comes to them, when they lose control of the ball, it comes back to them. When they slip, they magically make United player go the other way and they have free passage. I mean, LOL.

*Can't find the better word right now.

Also, Rooney's whack. Can't wait till we sell him, or more probably, till he retire in his 31 due being too fat.

EDIT: Best thing Rooney did in whole last month! He gave Mata penalty to take.

Very good half of football.

Excellent response from United after some horrendous defending for the opener. Impressed with Martial. Rooney may as well not be on the pitch. Memphis been this quiet all year? Mata the other side has been great. Schweinsteiger needs to check himself or he'll walk.

Fair half time score. This could go either way second half.

Rooney didn't let Mata to take it, Mata is on penalty duties and he will be till he misses one. Van Gaal explained it last year.

Why does someone as experienced as Martin Tyler insist on calling Memphis 'Depay?'

Could the fella' of made it any clearer what he wants to be known by? Geez.

Smashing flick on and a typically calm finish by Mike ;)
