I tend to agree, but he's not the youngest player around anymore. He'll be 23 in March and he has less then 10 games at his feet at the highest level. Similar situation to Bebe, he has talent, but very little experience. Or in Bebe's case, he didn't learn basics of the game at the young age, so his tactical development and overall tactical approach to the game is bad. I have a feeling Varela will be decent at worst, similar to Alex Buttner.
 
Decent win in the end given the circumstances. Did anyone see Ed Woodward posing every time camera was on his area? This guy lol.
 
Very little to fear in that Derby team if they come back up.

They'll be yo-yoing back down again unless they invest.
 
Main negative for me tonight is at the end when LVG shook every players hand including those on the bench. Pereira's look and reaction was very much of a player who is ****** off at his lack of playing time. I seriously am worried about why we're not giving this guy a chance in games like this. We need to get Mata back in form as well so it's a tough call but he should of at least been brought off the bench in that second half, even if late on. Personally I would of started him over Mata tonight.

Yeap looked frustrated past weeks. Yes hes young and does not deserve to start, but after how we have been playing he should have gotten more minutes and defo should have got some tonight. How he Januzaj and Memphis did not get any mins tonight is beyond me!!

Been dealing with some **** divorce selling house and moving etc :( lol we have been in a hole!!! more like a earth shaped crater :) glad to be on FT now though!!!

Cheers mate! Good to be back :) missed coming on here regular. Lets hope for better things till the end of the season now and get top 4 somehow and do what we can in the cups.

Sorry life's been as cruddy as it sounds for yer man the latter part of last year.

Probably sounds trite as I'm not the one in that situation but it can only get better. Easier said than done but got to move on as you appear to be doing. What else ya' gonna' do?

His morose **** ruined the definitive '80's cop show Miami Vice and that's all I have to say on him! (Told yer. The Poles dead weird.:P.).
