Oh well. Guess this seals LVGs fate. Good Luck to Liverpool. Show Europe that we can actually do good.
 
How far we've fallen to be in this situation is literally laughable.
 
Chasing a game, brings on two fullbacks and only attacking player that we had on bench remained there all game in Memphis. Only LVG.

Oh and that's not even mentioning bringing on Schweinsteiger for final 20 minutes, pointlessly. Should of been him in midfield at start of game.

The lads played well for large parts of the game but in the end, that awful performance at anfield takes it toll

Liverpool were happy to just sit back and made it tougher to break then down. We had opportunities...especially in the first half but basically did an arsenal.

Liverpool had good openings and well which was expected considering we opened up to go on an all out attack.

The frustrating thing about all this is that despite what some insist on telling is, we can play so much better. The inhibition is infuriating.

We see glimpses when we have to attack like tonight. But for me LVG again deserves a lot of blame, ****** starting line up and ****** subs once again.

This guys philosophy is built around Fellaini it seems.

His Valencia sub was actually good. He owned coutinho so bad that coutinho decided to drift inside.

I can understand perhaps subbing Varela but then bringing on another fullback is madness.

Why the **** did Memphis not even play at all tonight? He has put some of his best performances and goals in Europe yet doesn't feature at all. It's baffling.

If you substitute a fullback, it would be dumb not to bring on another fullback.... I don't understand your logic.

And Memphis didn't play tonight probably because like you said, best performaces came from Europe, VS European teams. He played last week vs Liverpool and he was ***** like he normally is vs English teams.

More chance of getting a goal from Memphis than anyone else on the bench though..

Also what you on about? He substituted two fullbacks, Varela and Rojo for Valencia and Darmian. Two substitutions just to replace switch both fullbacks that started the game.

Oh sorry thought you mean bringing on another fullback for Varela.

Yeah I agree Memphis would of been the best chance, but with his performances vs English teams, it would be a waste. Better to bring on someone that could actually cross the ball into the box for someone to get a head on it, rather than having someone cut inside and lose the ball like Memphis would do.

Ironically of LVG most of his signings were on the bench Darmian, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Memphis, it's almost likely he didn't buy these players to improve the first team.

Sure we're going for the game but you should be worried at getting battered on the counter.

Do you remember that 6-1 loss at old trafford to city?...Fergie was naive enough to leave just 2 defenderd on the pitch just to go for the game at 3-1
