I think we have outgrown doing parades for domestic titles now. Only small clubs (City + Liverpool
) have parades for anything and everything now lol

Having a parade after the crappy season we had would be ridiculous. So good decision imho!

Bit depressing to see people not bothered about winning the FA Cup these days

People are not talking about not winning FA cup, it's about not parading if ManUtd win the cup.
Saying that, I don't think we will win it. Our game play is too crappy and suits Crystal palace very much.
With yer mate but all the big clubs are as much to blame as anyone.
They don't take it seriously now as much as they say otherwise which is criminal. Really think the 4th Champions League spot should go to the FA Cup winners. It'd boost both completion's competitiveness.
Saying it's a small trophy and not wanting to parade it doesn't sound great.
If you cant win an FA cup and parade it then just give up on parades.
Only thing to look forward to for United this season, celebrate it.
(and yes Sunil, people are not generally that bothered. Big teams do not field their best squads throughout. Sadly when a small team wins it's the magic of the FA Cup, when Arsenal win it nobody cares. )

Its not that people aren't bothered about winning it. Its just that the bigger clubs have higher priorities. If the FA Cup was moved to midweek games with no replay's like other countries, I think the bigger clubs would field stronger sides. But the fact is the bigger clubs cant be arsed with all the extra games, then the fixture congestion because of replays and the league games that have to be fit in because of playing the cup on weekends.
Hopefully these new proposals for the football league will go a long way to helping that. Even the top end Championship clubs cant be arsed anymore. They already have an extra 6 league games. Then 3 for the playoffs. Then FA Cup games pushing league games back, then pushed even further if they are involved in replay's. Its ridiculous. Towards the end of the season, if a Championship club got to the later rounds and involved in replays, they could be looking at 6 games to cram in in the space of the last few weeks. Then they drop out of playoff contention because of it and nothing to show. Losing out on a potential massive pay day for getting into the Premier League.
Winning a cup is always nice. Especially the FA Cup. But for quite a few teams its more of a hinderance when you consider the bigger scale.
But you ARE in the final mate, make the most of it if you win I say! Not a lot else to cheer about this season, let the guys in town get out to shout at a bus haha
Winning the FA Cup is a big deal to me, we've not had it in 12 years.
But this season doesn't deserve a parade, and the fans/players know it.
Last thing we need is more patronising guff from the club tbh.
IIRC ManUtd didn't have a parade in 2004 when they won FA cup. So if that's correct then all these are nothing but faux outrage which is becoming very common now a days.
Im not sure if we did for the last few Premierships either. I know we did for the 20th because we broke the record and Fergie's last season but I cant remember having one for the few previous to that. I might be wrong.

EDIT: Just had a look and we did for the 19th title also in 2011. Not sure before that.
19th was the record breaker and we had parade for that. We had "CHAMP19NS" on the bus.
