The Manchester United Thread

Surprisingly, it's would appear a bit of a common misconception to call it either 'Fergie time' or 'Mou time':

90+ - Teams with most 90th minute winning goals in PL history:

Liverpool - 28
Arsenal - 21
Chelsea - 20
Everton - 19
Man Utd - 18

Go figure? Honestly stunned reading that.

This isn't even a dig mate, but I would say United's late goals under Fergie were more highlighted due to how important they were in title bids.

Mourinho's says Fellaini has a back injury and 'it's bad

I'd like to see Schneiderlin alongside Pogba in the derby.

Be happy with either of Carrick, Herrera or Schniederlin starting next to Pogba. Mourinho confirmed after the match there will be no business in or out for the first team this window. Happy with that.

What stuns me is most everyone, fan, player, commentator, would have Utd topping that the PL.

I really am stunned to see 4 other teams with more 90 plus minute winners.

I would've had them top too. Would love to see all competitions since the beginning of the PL era, Champions League (99 springs to mind), Fa Cup (last season alone, Martial against I think it was Everton), etc. It would be tight, not sure if they would've scored 10+ 90th minute goals though to go near Liverpool, but would be interesting to see it.

Shame, Fellaini has been different player under Mourinho, hope he recovers quickly.

The fact that Everton are ahead is the biggest surprise to me, although i would have had united top

For any United fans currently watching Match Of The Day, Sunderland v Southampton is yet to be shown, apparently Januzaj was superb today for the Black Cats, supposedly raped his full back all day and apparently went on a ridiculous dribble at one stage, eager to see it. Glad to hear he's resuming his progress, I still stand by his touted potential to be world class, hopefully Moyes can continue to get the best out of him this season.

Huge win even this early on. Can't afford to be dropping points to teams like these if we are gonna challenge. Was utter domination today despite scoring just the one goal. Fair play to Hulls defence! Should of had a peno. Rashford and Mky were very good when they came on, our squad options are great this season. Fecking break! :( can't wait for the next. Come on you REDS(6)

yes rashford and mkhitaryan energised us and looked far more dangerous than rooney and mata who are pedestrian in comparison, they are good players but too slow imo

Finished 1-1 for the u23s. Back 5 were good again same every week really. Harrop and Mitchell both showed glimpses of quality. Shame both picked up knocks and McTomminy. Was dull game to be honest, better result for us as Chelsea have the fair better players by a long way tbh. Joyce's rocket last week must of work all put in a great shift. Was lucky to get equaliser through an OG. Still think we will struggle. To many players left either on line or sold and injuries piling up. Joyce will deserve a statue if he can get this lot challenging to win things this year.

I'd be very happy to get 1m for him if being totally honest. Just hasn't cut it at all at senior level, but best of luck to him.
Poor lad has had a terrible time with injuries. But every time he has come back he has banged them in straight away at u23 level. If he stays fit he will score I'm sure of it.

That more than likely be James Wilson in a years time.

Still trying to work out how we robbed Watford of £4 million for Jerome Sinclair?

Could be right Scouse, although I do rate Wilson quite a fair bit above Keane. Always love to see academy players make it, but if they don't quite have it, or at least deemed to not, then it's not the end of the world for the club or even them; ask Danny Simpson & Danny Drinkwater, both of them moved on by the club after coming through the ranks, both of them sitting with a reigning PL medal, and I tell you what, I wouldn't mind having the latter back haha :D
