Anyone played as Utd on FM 17 yet. Got it pre ordered with the Beta, but not had time to play. A mate of mine said the u18sare fracking great stats?

From differing things I've read it sounds like it's gone real up and down in realism, or not, of player stats in particular. And then you see the 70 odd million bid for Blind over the page and it's like WTF?

No lol, I'll still probably watch the game. I'd prefer Mourinho to rest players for Sunday though like.

Still happy with the draw and how we played. Yes could of done more on the counter but meh. Liverpool have been light years ahead of us this season in terms of performances. Fans and pundits alike were adamant we were gonna get torn a new one. We didn't we went there completely shut them down bar one close range effort, and the usuall Coutinho worldie effort he tried every match. Well those fans and pundits you mention are victims of tabloid manufactured hysteria to sell copies whereby Lfc/Klopp are the 8th wonder of the world and Mou/Utd are **** and a waste of 200 million in transfers. What was "expected" was never gonna actually happen in the real world.
 
I'm gonna wait till Christmas to get a nice discount on fm 17.

Ii wasn't overly impressed with the "improvements"

Timothy Fosu-Mensah has signed a new contract at Manchester United which keeps him at the club until June 2020 with the option to extend for a further year.

Fosu-Mensah,18, joined United in 2014. Tim played in the Academy team and also the Under-21s before being handed a first-team debut against Premier League opposition Arsenal last season. He has gone on to make 12 appearances.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah said: "I am delighted to have signed a new contract here at Manchester United. I have enjoyed every minute since I joined this great club and I want to continue the progress that I feel I have made so far. I am learning every day from the manager and the coaching staff. I appreciate the trust that the club has in me and I want to repay that with my performances on the pitch."

José Mourinho said: "Tim is young player with great potential. I am pleased that he has signed a new contract and I am delighted at the progress he has made so far. I forgot who it was on here that claimed we wasted 30 million on Bailly after a few pre-season games. He's been our best signing so far...and was our least hyped

Not too long back from the pub, been catching up on the forum/roaming social media and came across an article that included these little images of our dominating and tireless Spaniard in the heart of midfield doing one of the things he does best, sums up his terrier-like approach, poor Can;

But has he got the intelligence on top of his ability to boss this defensive all round role, or was that just a flukey example? Yeah, right...

Milner free in the below example, Valencia has to close him... what about Mane who he'll leave free? No probs, we've got Ander... on to him like like a bullet without hesitance;

Plenty more examples of it, he was absolutely superb and has been all season so far.
