Must hate the likes of Ronaldo then.

The reason people want Rooney dropped is that he's too slow for midfield, and any combination of Pogba, Herrera, Mata, Carrick has been far superior, and up top he just isnt as good as Zlatan. He was very good against Fenerbache, and key to that was the supply from Pobga in particular to him. Using a player's haircut as any kind of judgement on him is a bit ridiculous really.

I agree but Zlatan was rather underwhelming vs Liverpool and Stoke somewhat. I mean it could of been the difference between winning them games or not with his chances against both he should of scored.

But, that isn't really my only gripe against Zlatan, it is more his hold up play wasn't very good against Liverpool and I thought Rondon did it better today for West Brom than he did. Hopefully Zlatan has a good game against Chelsea and offers more up top.

Tbh against Stoke the keeper was on speed or something they were genuine world class saves he was pulling off. Agree his hold up play against Pool wasn't great, but his support was non existent pretty much. Especially from Rashford who I thought wa poor

Yeh Rashford wasn't good, about time we played Mkhitaryan but M.E.N. reckons him and Rooney haven't travelled with the squad tomorrow?

MEN said TFM and Rashford hadn't traveled with the squad for Fenerbache. They useless with Utd team news. Can't wait for the match.

Cracking bunch of players ;)
Listening to the 'younger' fans saying it's the managers fault again.

Will we hire and fire every manager in the world before we say that these pampered millionaires can't play as a team?

Absolute dire performance.... honestly one of the worst I've ever seen and that is a feet in itself considering the Moyes/LVG tosh we've watched over the past few seasons.

From start to finish, dreadful, I'm losing faith quickly in this team and Mourinho for that matter. I just have no idea why he set up again with Fellaini with the hope of probably getting another 0-0. As soon as that first goal went in we collapsed.

Lets not even kid ourselves either, this is an average Chelsea team and we simply have been atrocious.

We were *****. Dismal performance of Blind and Smalling. The team shows no evolution. Hard to say Mourinho is blameless here.

dont know what to say after that.my family are chelsea fans and to say they are enjoying the moment is an understatement. So poor, not agreeing with a few things jose is doing right now but still think he will crack it.

I think Chelsea have to get a lot of credit, their front three were so in sync, but they were helped a lot with some school boy errors in defence.

Luke Shaw needs to come back in at left back, we need pace - Pedro raped Blind today, especially in the first half.

Paul Pogba is not a #10, and unless you're going to play Fellaini in the same role he played against Liverpool, he should not be on the pitch. Carrick should've started, or Pogba deeper and Mata starting... was really surprised about that approach from Jose, perhaps the early goal messed the plan up, but that didn't mean he couldn't make a bold early change.

Chelsea deserved credit for sure... but we literally played in every way into their hands. From selection to tactics/gameplan (was there even any?), it was just totally wrong.

If Liverpool got that early goal and fast start would of been similar outcome, best not to kid ourselves.

I thought Mourinho would do well with us and adopt to us but having serious doubts, he needs to sort it out and quickly. No top 4 this season and he is gone... his career most likely done as well.

**** performance. Don't know why Mou team selection or he himself is getting blamed. After the joke of the first goal from a complete mess from Smalling, Blind, De Gea nothing Mou could do against that and the second goal was a unlucky deflection off Herreras back. In fact it was just poor defending and poor team performance all over. I was more than happy with the team selection today.

Going into Einstein mode for a minute..
Mourinho seems to be having some problems integrating Pogba into the team and so he is trying to use Felliani to try to counterbalance Pogba's marauding runs.IF we are to have a holder, it must be a controlling DM, not a destroyer because we already have 2 mobile players in Herrera and Pogba, a simple 4-3-3 should do the trick, Carrick as holder behind Herrera and Pogba with a front three of Martial, Zlatan and Rashford.Rojo does not seem to be able to cross well, nor does he control the ball like blind, so he should never ever be played at LB(CB at best).
Einstein out.
Chelsea played brilliantly today but we made it easy for them with some terrible defending but they should have played the 2nd half with 10 men-The luck they just had was Barcelona level in terms of refereeing errors in their favour...This is not a Mourinho team. His teams are rruthlessly efficient on the counter and very strong defensively.Neither true for the team that has played this season up to now.The players really need to start caring and giving it their all the only player doing so today was lingard..

You can't give Mou credit for how we performed against Pool and then slag him off for trying the same against Chelsea.

The second goal was **** poor defending from Smalling letting his man go from the corner. As he later let Hazard go the third.

If you're playing Fellaini, you play him in that role alongside Herrera breaking up attacks like against Liverpool, not alongside Pogba in a joint #10 role. If you're going with that sort of shape, then surely you just play Mata and drop back Pogba into his preferred role?

If Fellaini isn't alongside Herrera breaking up attacks, and we're not playing long ball, then what exactly is he doing on the pitch? Mata gave us something extra when coming on, one in particular lovely lobbed ball into Ibra which forced a fine save from Courtois.

I can... against Liverpool there was reason to as they are one of the best attacking teams in the league and have shown it so far with their style of play.

This was an 'average' Chelsea before today who have been on and off at best this season, just like us, yet Mourinho sets up again in the same pragmatic way. We needed to be more adventurous in selection and gameplan today. With the way he set up it was only going to go one way if Chelsea got the first goal.

I hate Fellaini playing again, he does nothing for us. I say this whenever Fellaini plays, Pogba plays badly. Put Pogba in the Fellaini position and someone who is actually a no.10 there. Schneiderlin and Carrick is miles better than Fellaini, how he keeps getting games. Negative from the start with him in team.
