Why is his point pure nonsense? I don't get how it can be. More people sharing and caring in this world can only be a good thing.

Maybe if the government was not focused on making the rich richer and the poor poorer this wouldn't be such an issue as it is right now. Also dare I say maybe if they were controlling the population more in terms of immigration (and other aspects don't get me wrong) then people wouldn't be struggling so badly to live and most importantly, get a job.

I'm not saying that any one thing is to blame but seriously now more than ever, people need to look out for each other because you know for **** sure that the government or anyone above us isn't.

Welfare has been at it's lowest point for years. Use of food banks has jumped from 20,000 to well over a million people. Meanwhile hundreds of billions of pounds have been made to key and frontline services, while banks and corporations pay less tax than ever.

Hint: Poor people arent the ******* problem, and neither are immigrants. Neither have had a fraction of the financial impact put upon them.

Also not to mention things like the privatisation of Social housing, the privatisation of public services, and now the privatisation of our infrastructure

Didn't see that Bujakaa, sorry. Cheers for posting. The bottom line is, all the stick he's received in over the season has been WAY O.T.T. - and generally from the usual suspects.

If it weren't for sloppy finishing and at times, astonishing keeping, he would be bang up there with De Bruyne, Zaha & co in the assists chart, and with a few more goals to his own

Yes he loses the ball, yes he will take too much out of it here and there... but he tries things, he expresses himself, and I can't fault a man for that. It's why Zidane stood out so much to everyone, and regarded by many as the best central midfielder to play the game, he tried things, which isn't as common as it sounds in a central midfield position, there's not many of these type of players that come along. Like Zidane, Pogba is a match winner, and throughout his career he will produce moments of brilliance when it matters, like at Selhurst on Wednesday night.

A touchy subject that I tread with caution but I wouldn't blame them per se, more the government control over them that has allowed them to flood in and claim benefits.

When people say immigrants aren't a problem they are not, the government creates the problem. But when I go in to my local town these days (currently residing in Coventry at the moment) there is more foreign people than English. No I am not even exaggerating there either. Maybe it's different elsewhere but here in Coventry it's a mess.

I know its a mess mate but, Erm, Im much older than you and I remember that Coventry has "always" been like that - ie more "foreigners" than English. In actuality all the arguments about benefits claiming by immigrants are not borne out by the numbers (for one the money generated by the same foreigners as a workforce is much more than the benefits claimed). History goes in circles. We ve had a huge global financial crisis for 8 years now. In times like this the easiest thing for politicians to do is to blame the alien element (the people suffering financial hardship are much more malleable to this manipulation). Last time there was a huge recession was in the early 1930s and in Germany especially (but also other parts of Europe - Italy eg) the jews, communists and gays were blamed and we all know how that ended.

I know this debate isn't relevant to the thread at the moment, but I'll just add to this that every economic study of which I'm aware shows immigration has an overwhelmingly positive impact on public finances. Immigrants tend to come here to work when they're young fit and able, and require the least taking care of, and return to their home countries when they're old. They're also far less likely than natives to claim welfare.
