The Manchester United Thread

well as long as he gets what he needs then im all for it plus i cant say anything seeing as i have spent about 800m in my 7 years in my man u save so far
800m you must have some team mate :) TBH don't think will be many ins or outs maybe 4 of each. But the 4 ins will all be top quality to improve our starting 11 imo.

Reports in Spain Cope, Marca both reporting we are the only club to make and offer for Mbappe from Monaco 80m euros. And have made an improved offer of 110m euros after they knocked out City. Also report no interest from Real.

If Zlatan doesn't extend his contract for next season I'm hoping for Lukaku, Icardi or Belotti.. all look like fast, powerful, young and good finishers!

And maybe replace one of the CBs with M.Keane? Preferably Jones haha :(

Zlatan will defo stay next season. Keane would be a good player to replace Jones, least he's fit and good enough to be in the squad.

Not very good tbh. Good players but he could of been realistic with his targets. And says Marcelo is a CB :)

Haha missed the Marcel CB bit.

Yeah I was expecting some realistic players before I read it. Can't see any reason Varane would leave Madrid, let alone that they would let him go

Spain's manager has said Herrera will be a key part of his CM as he transitions the side from the days of Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets especially after the later struggling for consistency. Great news for us, will only help him develop even more. Great little player. Should of featured more!

Andy Mitten saying we tried to sign Jose Gimenez in Jan but Simeone would not allow him to leave, due to being in so many comps mainly CL. Says we also asked about him last Summer after we signed Pogba, but was to late for them to find a replacement. Mitten saying we are still interested and will go back in again in the Summer, with Simeone likely to let him leave.

According to Andy Mitten we tried for Gimenez last summer and again in January.

he any good?
Very good! Was fantastic last season with Godin. Not many if any better CBs for the same age imo. Great in the air, good with the ball very tough tackler. Would be a great signing! Been in and out the team this season due to an injury and Godin and Savic good form. Would be the end of either Smalling or Jones if he signs. Preferably Jones. He can't stop getting injured.

It's a mystery to everyone why Simeone keeps picking Savic ahead of Gimenez, their entire defence looks - and performs - so much better with Gimenez partnering Godin. It would be understandable if he wanted a move away because he should clearly be first choice ahead of Savic, who has cost them a number of points. I think that's a massive part of why Atleti haven't been as good this season
