Wow, what a game, poor finishing and we should have crucified them, but a very good night
 
Let's be honest, it's nothing more than we deserved! As poor as the finishing was, that was an enjoyable watch. :) Into the semi's and a step closer to a trophy & guaranteeing CL footy, nice one!! Only downfall is it's going to take a big effort on Sunday tea time. Anyway, job done :)

Over to BT3 now to watch the shootout, one big scalp going to exit.
 
Thank **** for that! Relief more than anything. Rashford MOTM for me. See who we get next. We are seriously gonna have to patch some players up for Burnley.
 
Well Ajax are out, surprisingly, Celta Vigo, Schalke and I don't know who else through.

With Zlatan, Mata, Smalling, Jones and Rojo injured?

Didn't include the "u21" players like Mensah and Tuanzebe..

Ajax through according to BT3 commentators. Would take Celta Vigo or Ajax semi's! Short-ish flight, and we're superior

It's ok, he played for Liverpool. It's a guaranteed slip up from him.

Also, great thing Lyon is through. **** playing in Turkey.
 
Solid win really, I mean it looked scarier than it really was. If it wasn't for finishing you could've ended that 5-0.

Paid for it with blood though. Zlatan looked like twisted ankle so out at least 3-4 weeks. So basically out for the season. And then core of your team played 120 minutes on a Thursday. Gonna pay for that at some point.
 
Getting through is the big thing and pretty pleased with how the other games went only would have changed Genk for Celta Vigo. Also someone has to explain to our players that you don't want to miss as frustratingly as possible but actually score
