Don't really understand why we want Dier, better options to pursue and negotiate with than Daniel Levy.

He's a very good player. And would improve our CM massively. Also free up Pogba from having to play so deep. We must have had some encouragement from Spurs side as we were in talks with them in Jan. But obviously they didn't want to sell to a rival mid season during a title challenge. A mid 2 of him and Pogba would be good as a 3 with Him, Pogba, Herrera. Been watching a few matches and highlights of him last season, where he played mainly as a DM and he was fantastic.

Agree with Zz on this one, would prefer to be looking at bigger targets personally. Pretty good player in his own respect, but another victim of being overrated by the British Media/pundits etc. I don't think he'd improve us, just be another option. His 'versatility' is a little dubious because as we've seen many times, yesterday being the latest, he gets caught out at centre half.

He'd cost a lot more than his value given the fact he's English, contract runs until 2021, and as Zz said, dealing with Levy... and the thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs sell, as they'd low-key be keeping a better English midfield talent in their ranks in the quickly up & coming Harry Winks.

Levy would ***** anyone blind for the mediocre Dier.

Never got got the media hype outside of them being SO desperate for young English players.

For me he's just a hard worker who's solid at what he does but not particualalry great at anything. Like a lot of today's players.

Given a choice I'd genuinely prefer Wanyama.

Personal opinions I suppose. I think he would be a good signing hardly mediocre! Remember similar things from oppo fans and Utd fans about Carrick being an underwhelming signing and over priced. Not saying He's gonna be a world beater, but would complement our team very well as a pure DM. Just watching his performances against Dortmund last season. Far from average/mediocre. Was far better than Weigl. I do agree though British media do overhype players! Jose must see something in him. But managers aren't always right I guess.

Anyone watch the Atletico game yesterday? Griezmann got fed up after his interviewer asked him about his future. And stormed off before answering the question. Can't blame him same **** every 3-4 days. Same as Mou getting asked about Rooney in every single presser.

cant see lukaku arriving, think he will go to la liga or chelsea.so much speculation right now and we are probably way off predicting mourinhos top tagrets apart from griezmann who it would seem a deal is on the cards provided we get CL football

Nice to see Burnley go 2 up top. May cause us a few problems, but at least they're having a go. Hopefully we can capitalize on the extra space like we've being doing all season away from home.

Terrific from Martial!! Surprised the thug didn't take him down there though.

What a counter goal that! Martial :) another great pass from Herrera! That goal was worth every penny of 8.5m :)

We now have a Goal Difference of +26, City have +28. & Liverpool +29. Of course seeing out the 3 points is first and foremost, but another goal or two could be invaluable!
