The Manchester United Thread

Nah, i think its all paper talk bollox. buts as its us. I will safely state in the 45mil bracket :lol.

prob 20-25 ish? maybe. Depending if he makes a **** of himself to get it done? but we're linked with every full back in the world at the min, as ours are out of contract end of the season (6 players i think with no deals on the table) .
You maybe right with Levy at the table. Same with us a Dier.

I think the papers have us down for

Walker - Bonnuci - Stones - Kolasinac/Mendy

Which is some FM transfer window type ****... :lol

I think we'll prob end with Walker and Gaya instead.

lol. Think Kol will end up at Arsenal. Could see you get Walker and one Mendy or Gaya. Think Bonnuci might decide to stay.

This guys mentality and determination is something else! Got a feeling we will se him in a Utd shirt again(6)

First of all, thank you for all the support and love.
Its no news I got injured so I will be out of fotball for a while.
I will go through this like everythings else and come back even stronger. So far I played with one leg so it shouldn't be any problem. One thing is for sure, I decide when its time to stop and nothing else. Giving up is not an option. See you soon

Coming back to previous topic.
It might not agreed by all, but Mourinho has played lot more in PL than Pep has. Familiarity with league definitely helps.
No doubt but Peps unwillingness to change to certain situations is a bigger problem.

No way of cutting it Peps been a major flop this season! And like I said before he joined City I'm not convinced he's the man to be successful there. Without having the a team full of the best players in world football. Time will tell but i don't think he will be the dominant force pundits were expecting/ certain he would be.

For me Mourinho will always be better at getting a team to play above its level than Pep. Mourinho can get a team to play well with good players. Pep needs the top quality players to need to perform.

They have the worst squad in the top 6. I looked at Goalimpact's match odds and they pretty much gave Arsenal a 60% chance of winning. They apparently have the worst squad in the top 6.

Peps play relies heavily on full backs. No one bought any decent full backs. Madness

City's squad is unbalanced. That shouldn't be the case with all the planning time they had.

Yep someone somewhere got it majorly wrong. And I don't get this argument that Peps new to the league people keep saying. So is Conte. And Silva they seem to be doing alright.

L'pool's bench yesterday was apparently the youngest bench in the club's 124-year history.

Alby Moreno was the oldest player on it. At TWENTY FOUR! Whilst it's absolutely brilliant on the one hand to see a glimpse of the future all sat together in Karius, Trent, Gomez, Woodburn, Grujic and Brewster; having 4 teenagers sat there against a Palace side with top 10 quality in it severely limits your options of change. ****, for perspective, Rhian Brewster would of been the first player born in the 2000's to play the PL had he made his debut. A lad who has just turned 17 and only stepped up the 23's Christmas. But there was no other out and out centre-forward option available.

In comparison to what City have at their disposal ...... There is NO comparison. Right here, right now, L'pool get key injuries, L'pool suffer. It's the main factor in what's derailed their title bid and what's separating Chelsea from everyone else.

Behave mate. You know full well City's squad is nothing like the weakest of the top 6 sides. The two Manchester clubs are the only ones that have the similar quality depth right now to step in when they lose players through injury across the board compared to the other 4.

Silva's not had to deal with the lack of a mid-winter break.

Conte's been exceptionally lucky to have no major injuries all year and to more or less play the same XI every week.

That right there is a major difference here that even the best-of-the-best get taking by surprise with. The full on intensity in the number of games/ opponents never letting up and no break to recharge the middle of the year.

There's always exceptions when everything just falls into place like Conte and Chelsea this year. But in the main, everything with the English game is a Worlds away from most any other European Country and takes some adjusting to. Even for the best and most experienced managers.

Tbf, Chelsea always has a very good injury record. You can't always blame injuries just on luck.

Scouse, from my limited time here, i learned that damola and objectivity doesn't go in same sentence when we're talking about Pep. Of course he's gonna find some excuse for City's poor season. Sure, their squad need some work but spanish mastermind had a whole summer to fix key issues we all knew they had. But instead, he spent millions on strikers and kids he sent out on loan.
And yes, i know that i'm also biased here, due to my dislike for Guardiola, but claiming that City lack depth, that they have weakest bench in top 6 is rubbish.
