What? Really? CM in a 3 man midfield, as a more attacking one maybe I guess?
He can play in a 2 or a 3 even deeper in a 3 and control the game like Carrick. The most impressive thing about Periera is he has a rediculous amount off talent and a lot to his game. The thing he's improved in while being out on loan is his work rate, attitude, and defensive side of his game.

He always had great techical ability, very good set pieces and could score goals and create for fun. His problem was he would tend to switch off or his decision making would let him down. Same problem with Januzaj unfortunately the later just hasn't seem to turn the corner and push on in his development. He was offered a similar loan move to Periera, but he wanted to go to Sunderland and be babied by Moyes.

Agree on every bit about Pereira but I can't see him play that deep, his physique and defensive positioning/awareness would let him down?
I think he's got great energy and technique to play on the wing or attacking mid but further down not sure :(

He can play that deep no problem, not against the top top teams where you need a bit more defensive protection. But he has developed a **** of a lot physically, he won't get knocked off the ball easily and he likes to put a tackle in ala Herrera. The most impressive thing is his best performances have most probably came against Madrid, Barca, Atletico. Think he also has more goals than Kroos, Modric, Koke this season. Posssitiong wouldn't be a problem as he learnt to play a numerous roles this season. LW, RW, CM even wing back at times. Will be perfect cover for Pogba or Herrera next season.

Can't believe how well Zlatan is doing from 7 days ago from being in a full leg brace to today posting on instagram himself already in the gym and walking and doing pool work is nothing short of incredible! I've had mates with exactly the same injury and it's been the best part of 8-12 weeks after the operation before they started doing anything like that. Just goes to show the man he is and his drive and determination. Already tweeting he's ready for Stockholm :O I hope we keep him for another year!

This fella's on the way to being bin bagged. Man's gota' do what a man's gota' do I guess .....

Telling my Mrs I'm off to Stockholm via an email is pretty cowardly when I think about it.

Brings to mind my Uncle Dave, who, in 1976, left the house Tuesday evening for a loaf of bread the corner shop ...... Seen the lads getting on the coach for the UEFA Cup final in Bruges ..... And joined them! Got a boss photie of him sat on a dustbin with Kevin Keegan the morning after the match both necking these chickens, with r Dave still in his cardy and slippers! Not sure how he ever explained going the shop, getting on the coach, then getting the ferry over Belgium to come home 2 days later with no bread like to me Auntie June!
XD.

Man's gotta' do what a man's gotta' do!

A lot of reports in France saying we've agreed terms with Bernardo Silva. Great player if true! Also set to sign 3 players for the academy as soon as window opens.

9 years ago to the day... where does the time go?

One of, it not thee, best team in PL history. Dominant in the league, the team to avoid in Europe, a bit unlucky to have been in the same era as arguably the best side of all time in Pep's Barca, otherwise we could've won 2-3 Champions Leagues.

Love it. Looking forward to watching this :) Can't wait to see Gomes come off the bench!

Shame Dearnley picked up a knock yesterday. But excited to see these young players. Be surprised if Lingard starts the final if starting today. Looks like Jones will partner Blind on Weds also. Smalling out with a toe injury and could be doubtful. Fairwell game for Rooney.

Defo farewell for Rooney. Whether you like him or not, absolute legend of this club.

never ever not yet carrick still has some left in his tank imo
Agree. And with a possibility of a lot of experience going would be good to have for another year. Same with Zlatan, but reports are he's turned down a fairly big offer from us. Will wait and see what happens with both players.
