The Manchester United Thread

I like him. He scores goals, be it with left or right foot or his head, but I really think he should stay at Serie A (hopefully at Milan). He's only had one really good season and I think what United need now is more of a known quantity especially for the price Torino want.

I think United should now go all out on both Lacazette and Morata. If they try for Morata now and Madrid won't sell then Lacazette might already be off the market. Hopefully it's Arsenal who take him out of the market.

Get out of my head Quasit!

Near enough everything you post is what I think about things....getting suspicious now...

MARCA: Morata has informed Real Madrid hierarchy today that his decision to leave is firm. His destination is to be MUFC.

Sweden play a friendly 13th June against Norway, Lindelöf could be announced after that or after tonights WC Game against France

Surprised Zlatan has gone out so quiet on here. What a free signing he was! Gave us everything; leadership, charisma/character, that hunger to win that I've never seen so high in a player... that on top of all his goals & class. Only regret was not signing him the big man 3-4 seasons ago. For me, one of the all time great strikers. Proven himself in every league, never shied from a challenge... didn't have to come to the PL at 35 years old, didn't have to prove the closed minded British media anything, but came, conquered, & shut them all up.

All the best with whatever you decide to do, you big Swedish legend!

Only quite because he will be playing for us again in Jan ;)

You reckon? Because I've been hearing Mourinho going after BOTH Morata & Belotti. Wants 3x #9's (Rashford) to juggle with in all competitions, with no big drop off in either.

I can see the logic behind it, with PL, CL & all the cups, trying to build something very deep, but the realistic part of me smells bullshit as you'd be talking over £100m on recruitment in that position alone.... but maybe as you say, he's going to sign one of those, and then go back in for the big Swede in January? That's some illuminati level of speculating there though.

Yes lol ;) Been reading the same. Think it was Delaney who reported it. It's been known Mou wanted 2 attackers from the start. But can't see Moratta coming for 60-70m and Belloti for close to 80m :O defo smells of BS as Moratta is only coming as he wants not to be a bench warmer. Not to factor in Rashford, Martial as options. Makes sense to sign Morata and have Rashford as second choice with Martial as an option. See where we are and Zlatan is in new year and go from there. Kinda like what Fergie wanted with Larson. Could help us secure some trophies stay fit and provide that huge experience in the run in. Then sale off to Napoli, America or wherever.

If the reports by various sources in Spain is true then 64m£ is a great deal for Moratta in today's market!

I hope the majority of you all apologise to damola if Utd sign Moratta for all how you argued against him and dismissed the Spaniard as not very good for the vast majority of the season.

It's not like you Scouse to put a sour tone on a United signing?!

I don't remember that.. but hey ho.

Nothing sour here lid. I'd much rather you signed Moratta than roll with the very dangerous Frenchman you keep sticking out the wing. (When you do actually play him that is.).

I just find it amusing looking back just a few months to read people lambasting damola and 'not rating Moratta at all' to now being all giddy in excitement.

How quickly things change.
