The Manchester United Thread

Do we trust Fellaini in a pivot? He's been surprisingly very good in his favourite more advanced role this season, positively effecting the game, being a nuisance etc. but in a midfield 2?

Him & Gueye to kick lumps out of each other, leaving the rest to play football... #smartmove

Valencia AND Young start. This to me says Fellaini & Matic sit compact centrally and let the full back's bomb forward in support.

Huge miss, no matter how much you sugar-coat it with squad depth or whatever. He's vital. Need the front 4 to be as clinical as ever now, a big goal threat/game-changing dimension absent from midfield now.

Matic, Fellaini, Herrera etc. just need to do their jobs, keep it simple, and let the top half work magic. Similarly to Chelsea of last season I guess.

He deserves that goal based on his contributions for us over the last year from RB. What a ******* goal

I need to stop laughing at the Evertonian rants in work.

Only been watching the last 7 minutes and they're horribly organised. If they were sat any deeper they'd be playing at City!

You don't want to be a dopey F-er in front of your previous fans who already know you're a dopey F-er.

Unlike him, that's dreadful. Confident he'll make it right though!

Flags up for half an hour and Everton cheer the 'goal.'

I cringe to think they're actually from the same City.

Decent half, worth the lead. Shocking miss from Lukaku, needs to put it right 2nd half with a goal. They're there for a couple more goals lads.

Well that was slightly less duller than the earlier Chelsea- Arsenal debacle so there is that.

Everton sat that deep the first 20 they were almost back at Goodison. Fast Utd start. Brilliant goal. Then Everton come right back into it, push forward, and have arguably been the better team the last 25 without creating much. Knocking it around real well. Whilst continuing to look shaky when hit over the top on the break and could well have conceded another. Michael Keane showing why he's nowhere near a footballing top 6 side level with a shocking square ball straight to Mata to then set up Lukaku. Who in turn reminds Evertonians of what they're no longer missing. (Take it up with them not me. Just the messenger.).

I did learn that Hucknall is not only a ginger ****. He's now a FAT ginger ****. Has he eaten the rest of his band? And the bluesh*te have worse eyes than Mr Magoo.

Hopefully, the second half picks up as a spectacle.

Mkhi is always lively, but does anyone else think he's overplaying a touch lately? Needs to release passes quicker etc.
