Why Ligard for Ibra surely taking Lukaku would be a better choice to take off?

Stonewall pen, foot makes contact..... gives a yellow for a dive... didn't book Sane for two..... ***** reffing again. The consistency is shocking.

Because he's a main striker. Unfortunately.
Well, this is not as bad as it looks. This City dominations can only mean one thing, more spending from United. New defender, midfielder is a must. Would love Kane as a main striker, but thats a wet dream.
Also that was a dive.

Why has it took so long for us to actually pressure this defence like this..... sigh.

He maybe the main striker but Ibra is a pretty nifty striker as well for all his years and current lack of fitness.

Should be like 6 mins of stoppage time cos of injuries and time wasting. We know it wont be though.

His hold up play is terrible. Yes his link up play has improved. But hus work rate and interest in defensive duties is non existent!

If you'd of added 'and doesn't do jack in a big game' you'd of encapsulated Lukaku.

That said, the way Utd play him is far less about his attitude in not being involved/ working like at Everton and them just wanting him as the predator in the box.

This holds are you finally gonna' put local bias/ obvious (and natural) hatred of City aside and concede they are by far and away the best side in this league and have it won already with a ridiculous 4 game lead barely into December?

I still don't rate City that much, I mean sure they are great at times (typical Pep team with their intricate passing and movement) but for me we just played right into their hands today. For far too long this match we were giving them acres and acres of space in our own half letting the likes of De Bruyne and Silva dictate play. That change when we went 2 up top should of happened a lot sooner and we gave them 2 goals. Having said all that. I just don't believe we have enough hope to claw that gap back and no one else will catch them so that's pretty much it for me with the league.

Lukaku gets to much hate, understandably he should score more and often, but for me it seems he is burned out. He PLAYS every game 90 minutes. 1.987' minutes compared to De Gea 1800. It is no excuse yeah, but goal scoring fault goes down also to Mou not only him.

Scouse it isn't over until is mathematically impossible a certain Mr Keegan and a bunch of Newcastle fans can attest to that one. Plus City have been riding their luck over the last few games, they will come unstuck at some point.

City far better team! Bit early to be handing out trophies yet. But it’s gonna take a monumental slip up looking at it. No Pogba no party I’m afraid for Utd. Herrera has regressed. Runs around a lot but his passing and composure on the ball is pretty bad. And I noticed today a lot he follows the ball to much and is easily played around.

Young has been good. But we need a better one in these big games. Matic easily our best player today! Another good game from Lindelöf in the second half. Thought Smalling and Valencia were good.

We lose all attacking threat without Pogba. Which is shocking really. Feel sorry for our attacking players who are living off scraps without him.

We only ever showed any mild ambition TOD when we went 2 up top today. Before that Mourinho's plan was always going to result in City having tons of possession and creating chances. Yes, missing Pogba was key but the gameplan was dross and the tactics was dross. This is Manchester United and were relying on fooking hoofball to beat the press every time.
